So does the judge decide sentencing? Does anyone know how long it will be?
The same jury will return to court Tuesday to begin considering a punishment for Young, which could range from probation to 20 years in prison.
Prosecutors had asked the jury to convict Young of a more serious first-degree felony, which would have made her eligible for a life sentence.

Snipped...Jurors rejected a more serious charge of injury to a child by omission, which could have sent her to prison for life.
Not nearly enough...JMO
Well yes, of course she was found guilty. I am disappointed that she wasnt nailed with the omission charge, but we did not see the evidence. That is fair as I can be at the moment.
I am goint to write the board in TX to make sure her license is pulled post haste.
