I don't care what happens to the Couch's (besides going scot free) but I am tired of reading about yet another possible life lost in association to them. I am worried sick about the dog.
Now this makes me really angry. The dog has committed no crime and is unable to care for itself. I am furious!![]()

Tarrant County sheriff Dee Anderson is expected to hold a news conference once Tonya Couch is booked into the jail.
Later this afternoon, she is due to appear in front of a judge who will decide whether or not she should be released on bail, set at $1 million, the sheriffs office said.
If released on bond, she will be tracked by a GPS monitor. The judge overseeing her case can add more conditions, too.
I've been watching her return, supposedly live, on nbcdfw.com. They sure are taking the long way from DFW to downtown Fort Worth. I suppose they have their reasons. She'll probably go home tonight:sick:
It is possible, but unlikely, that Couch sees a judge Thursday.
It appears she then boarded a white van owned by the sheriff’s office — with the sheriff himself riding shotgun — for the drive to the jail.

the hearing might not happen until Friday morning, according to the office of the judge overseeing the case.

I don't understand why the dad will probably bail her out? Why? She's his EX wife why would he want to put his financial life on the line for her anymore?
It kind of makes one wonder what she may have on dad...
Interesting, but I'm holding a "wait and see" position.

Good Post.So this information about all these "priors" was not available to the judge?
I don't agree with Ethan's sentence. But it's not like the judge wasn't using any logic whatsoever when she sentenced him, or that this is clear evidence that she was paid off. In Texas, when dealing with minors, the courts tend to lean towards rehabilitation rather than punishment. Ethan's crime was nevertheless an unitentional event not committed while also committing felony theft. The judge apparently felt there was a chance of him turning him around. Clearly she was wrong. And the other kid didn't end up serving much of his original sentence, and ended up right back in trouble as well. Seems they are both lost causes.
If they put him (and his mom) in jail and threw away the key, it wouldn't bother me one damn bit. Especially with regard to the mom, because I think she and Pops are the ones who deserve the most blame for ruining this kid.
Good Post.
One of my biggest fears in life is messing up my sons. How my and their dads decisions have affected them.
Wonder how these so called Couch parents thought their son would turn into a productive adult. Or did they not care? Odd.
Blows my mind.
