SAN ANTONIO (WOAI/KABB) — Police are on the lookout for a suspect driving a silver Toyota who fired multiple rounds at three San Antonio Fire Department personnel. Two of them suffered gunshot wounds.

The incident happened at the 2500 block of Bandera Road at around 2 a.m.

According to officials, officers from West Patrol were dispatched for shots heard.

Officers arrived at the crime scene and the San Antonio Fire Department relocated to the fire station. Moments later, officers learned that a silver Toyota drove by the fire station and fired multiple rounds in the direction of three San Antonio Fire Department personnel. One of the SAFD personnel sustained a laceration on the left side of his head and another SAFD staff had a minor laceration on the arm when taking cover.

The San Antonio Police Department is searching for a suspect shooter that fired off multiple rounds at two San Antonio Fire Department EMS crew members on the city's Westside, early Sunday morning.

According to the SAPD, officials were responding to a shots fired call in the 2500 block of Bandera Rd around 2 a.m. before an unknown vehicle came and started letting off gunshots in the direction off crew members. Officials say that the suspect, who was driving a silver Toyota, drove near the EMS crew members before firing off multiple shots and driving off.
