The ironing board and circular brown ottoman were moved slightly during the life saving measures.

The bowl has ice cream with cookies crumbled in it. The television was on and an xbox controller sits by the bowl of cereal. Jean's laptop was on the ottoman and was illuminated as well.

The medication on the counter was from a recent wisdom teeth removal surgery. Jean had just been medically cleared to eat ice cream the 6th.

I believe it was a tragic accident. Horrific Accident.

Why lie then?
Why did she lie about him charging at her? I saw (on body cam) the blood pool-after they took Bo out.. .it was right NEXT to the couch. Next to his ice cream & laptop. He was fatally shot in a rising or crouching (bent )position.
She could of put 911 on speaker & held pressure to his wound, done compressions,.
Instead she leaves a dying Bo as she paces outside and talks on the phone about herself.
She killed an innocent man in his own safe place & never rendered aid. Then proceeded to work this story backwards so she could blame this murder on everyone & everything else but herself.
One poster said yesterday why on earth does she not admit what she did & take a plea deal. The humble, humane, right & very least she could of done was admit her mistakes, selfishness ,bad choices & face the punishment for taking an innocent man’s life.

That he had been wearing the flip flops and their position showed he was approaching AG as she entered. It was in the defense opening statement.

I'm a little surprised she wants to back pedal and now say that he was charging at her and she thought he was going to kill her. Who's going to believe that after hearing the 911 call, when she never, not once, mentions 'I thought it was my apt and he charged me, so I had to shoot him". Charged her? He was found right by the sofa where he had been sitting and eating his ice cream. A 6 minute call and she never says that, or anything like it.

The jury isn't going to believe that, and it makes her look even worse by lying about it. Shame on her and her defense team for thinking someone is going to buy that. MOO

If she takes the stand in her own defense, she will probably sniff up a few tears, her attorney has probably told her she better tear up. If she does, it is all about her, not Botham Jean.

rumor 3 / hasn't been addressed yet 2 witnesses said they heard this they went to Lee Merit , not sure its a rumor.

Well 3 neighbors that live on the same floor testified for the state today that they heard no yelling prior to the gunshots. Not to mention the state in OS said the door was unlocked. Jean was also near his couch when he was shot so I seriously doubt that it’s true.

From the get-go I have speculated this was always about the pot smell.
Further amateur opinion and speculation is that the now ex-officer was tired and grouchy and went to intimidate or “bust” her neighbor. I want a hair stand test for steroids. Rage.

Since she lived one floor below him, do you think she could smell it and know he was smoking pot? I've lived on the ground floor before and never noticed any smells: cooking, pot, cigs, you name it, just heard footsteps. The neighbor said he was asked about it and he lived across from Botham. Seems like someone on the 4th floor complained.
