I do like this judge.

I’m surprised by the 10 year sentence. How much will she serve? Five?

I was also surprised by the verdict: guilty of murder.

I guess I thought she’d be convicted of a lesser charge but sentenced to more time.

Small sentence, but she’ll have the “convicted murderer” label attached to her for the rest of her days.
