I’d like to see more people donating to child advocacy services than putting items at memorials for the little ones, that will mostly end up thrown away. Not meaning to say you’re doing anything wrong, but sometimes you see enormous memorials and all the money spent on those items could make a difference if donated.

I drove past the church today in the middle of errands- there was an amazing amount of items left for Frankie. I'll try to stop back by tomorrow and check on it again. I did want to leave my own personal token as well.

I believe the dumpster was removed on Thursday morning. I saw a picture of the property of the church and the dumpster, along with all of the memorial items, were gone. Please consider donating something to the foster care system now that frankies two siblings are in foster care.

State seeks to terminate parental rights of woman charged in toddler's death

June 3, 2020

As mourning continued Wednesday for toddler Frankie Gonzales, state child welfare workers sought to terminate his mother’s parental rights to two other children, and records revealed that her rights to six other children were taken from her five years ago.

Laura Sanchez, 35, who was charged Tuesday with first-degree felony injury to a child in her 2-year-old son’s death, remained in jail Wednesday on a $500,000 bond. She is also being held on allegations of parole violations.

Petitions seeking to terminate Laura Sanchez’s parental rights to her 3-year-old and 4-month-old children were not publicly available Wednesday because Associate Judge Nikki Mundkowsky ordered them sealed.

Sanchez, also known as Laura Jane Villalon, was released from prison in May 2019 after serving time for a burglary of a habitation conviction and was scheduled to remain on parole through September 2022 before her arrest this week. Before she was sent to prison, Sanchez was on probation, but it was revoked for continued drug use and other violations, records show.

Am I reading this correctly? Nine kids? 9? I really wish there was a way to force parents like this to be sterilized until they can prove they are worthy to be parents. I know it's a slippery slope but damn.....

I don’t think “parents” is a good word.
She knows what birth control is and wanted the money but not the child.
And hold the sperm donor responsible too - you can find condoms everywhere unlike toilet paper.

I'm in central texas so I will keep an eye out for court dates and new information as it comes out. Mclennan county is odd that they don't have an online docket they maintained themselves it's an outside source.

Mother disowns daughter after grandson found dead in dumpster
The mother of a Waco woman accused of killing her two-year-old child disowned her daughter Wednesday.

The I-35 bridge near McLane Stadium is lit up #Blue tonight in honor of Frankie Gonzales, the 2-year-old Waco boy found dead in a dumpster this week. Blue was his favorite color.

Thank you for posting this. ( Clicking "like" isn't enough.)

Think of what could be done with the money spent on all the items left at these memorials--money that could potentially help one, if not several, child(ren) that need it.

I also want anyone responsible for what happened to Frankie punished to the fullest extent possible.
