Taking his height into consideration I think he was underweight - especially if it's possible he could be as old as 5. I'm thinking he was between 2 - 3 years old - something about that little face just makes me think he was still a baby.

Yes, I agree he would be underweight for that height. The Lois drawing of his face looks closer to a 4 year old to me, and I’d say his height is a bit tall for a 2-3 year old... I’m also basing the idea that the face looks too thin and developed for a 2-3 year old, but I’ve not often seen a malnourished 2-3 year old either. Like so many have said, the idea of averages doesn’t account for all kids, but I’d put my bet on him being a skinny 3.5-4.5 year old by the info they’ve provided. It’s all so subjective lol. Even with teeth.. my three year old had her full set of teeth before her first birthday. I don’t envy the detectives dealing with this at all. I so hope they can identify this sweet little dude.

I was looking at the flow of the river from the bridge at Baytown through the bay to Galveston on Google this morning. It looks as if there’s a definite flow of fresh water stained with silt that spews out from the entrance of the bay into the Gulf. It seems to hug the coast for some distance, both west and east of the entrance so it might be possible that this little one went into the water somewhere north east/east of where he was found on the beach. That’s all I can figure out for now. Hopefully, my friend will give us more information about tides and currents in the days leading up to this little one’s discovery soon.

There was inclement weather by the looks .
Storms and rain ,
tides possibly higher than predicted ,
(Due to the inverse barometer effect)
All signs imo that the ocean was Not calm at all .
Rivers and most certainly Tide moving lots of water in the gulf ,was rainfall high?

We did have some rainfall during this time as we had a cold front blowing in, nothing substantial but the winds picked up enough to bring down some tree branches at my home - which made for a rough ocean front in the days leading up to this little guys discovery.

We have another cold front coming in tomorrow, and the surf went from very calm (this morning) to getting pretty rough and muddy by 4pm.

I had to go back and look at security cam footage. Wind picked up around midnight 10/16.

We actually had a good amount of rain and wind on 10/20 (day our little guy was found) starting around 3am until sometime after 4:30am

No problem.

At this point there is still no definitive proof that he was ever in the water, although it does seem most likely. Waiting on autopsy results is tough, gives us plenty of time to scrutinize. :waiting:

I'm impatiently waiting on LE to give more information about this little boy again. It's not that I don't have trust in NCMEC, I do. But I was with a 501(c)(3) non-profit org for some time and saw many inconsistencies with NCMEC. I'd just like another source to give this information to back it up with.

It is a shame. I know you weren’t discrediting the info AP. I was actually surprised to read it on NCMEC as it wasn’t in MSM. I know OkieChance called NCMEC and they were going to investigate. That’s the last I heard.

Me too. I know NCMEC work with LE but I would have thought LE would have stated it publicly if it was the case but maybe they are just waiting for more information before they speak about it again.
