I have serious goosebumps all over my entire body!!! Head to toes! I too thought of League City, but when I read Winnie in your post it gave me the shivers.

I initially thought Baytown, possibly off the I45 bridge. Was concerned there wasn’t more damage to his remains from the rocky breakwater though. Check the first few pages of the thread. There’s an annotated map there (before met’s reverse drift analysis).

It's so sad that this picture had to be shared, but I'm sure it will lead them to answers. Those eyelashes... and those funny wee eyebrows :(

If only Carls recon had been put out first, there was always something just not quite right with the first one, thank you as always CarlK.

I wonder if he was a preemie? The low weight and hairyness aspect.

I think that would have ‘righted itself’ by age 3 to 4, given proper nutrition. But a paediatric nurse/RN may be able to advise.

I'd rule out malnutrition/starvation as his hairs are terminal and not vellus.

I also don't think they look like the lanugo hairs of a preemie.

Ah, a resident RN! Thank you x

I also checked the Wikipedia page for Baby Grace. They seem to have gone a very long way to dump her body? But I couldn't find an exact location where she was dumped, and I'm not sure which side of the island her body washed up?

Riley Ann Sawyers "Baby Grace" died in Spring, TX (75miles from Galveston). Riley was placed in a storage bin and tossed off of the Galveston Causeway into Galveston Bay, the storage bin didn't make it too far before it washed ashore a little island in Galveston Bay - a fisherman made the gruesome discovery

Ohhh... another very tragic case. So sad !!!!
What really burned me was an article stating that Riley's "mother" saying she'd died of her own 'volition'. As if Riley had brought it on herself.
What a witch with a "B".
(And yet another woman who brought a man into her daughter's life , and allowed him to abuse little Riley.)

Several things can cause the excessive hair growth in children, including but not limited to malnutrition and starvationm tuberculosis, etc, etc.:

WoW! Thanks! Thinking back at Bella Bond's pics, she had a lot of hair too, forehead and eyebrows. She didn't look malnourished, but I'm sure she was not getting the proper diet she did need.

Reading more about congenital hyperinsulinism, the drug used to treat it can cause excessive hair growth too. Diazoxide.

Yes! Baytown too. Large population. Possible they moved after dumping Little Jacob.

No, I do not claim to have medical training of any kind. That was just my opinion from spending some time studying hair growth a few years ago and learning things like vellus and terminal. Although I don't have personal experience with babies, the lanugo hair should be finer and cover the body more rather than being the more terminal-like growth in specific places which Jacob exhibits.

Bella's dad was of Italian descent, Mediterranean genes can can sometimes come with heavier body and facial hair. I didn't see anything abnormal about Bella's hair, it looked genetic to me. Genetically normal as opposed to a medical condition.

I'm sorry, I'm not an expert or medically trained, but hair growth is something I did some personal research on for a while, and that is my opinion on Bella.

If I am reading the information correctly from the Texas Children's Hospital Hyperinsulinism site, there are 3 types of HI: Diffuse, focal and transient.

If it was transient, it seems the mother could have suffered complications during pregnancy (premature birth, maternal diabetes during pregnancy, heart disease and severe infections in the pregnant mother).

I know little Jacob will probably end up being Latino because of location. But..
I have several friends of Middle Eastern decsent that he reminds me of.

Signs of abuse on his little body... :(

Hope they find out what happened and imo there's no reason for law abiding people to throw a baby into the ocean. So def. foul play of some sort.

If a toddler passes from natural causes and you've done nothing wrong-- why hide/throw away his body ?

The only thing I could figure is if the parents were not legal citizens or something. But with the signs of abuse...who knows.

I agree! I thought she had a beautiful olive complexion which I think threw off investigators a bit because it seemed for a while there they thought Bella was Hispanic. At least they were questioning the Hispanic community there heavily about Baby Doe at one point.

I didn't find a specific doctor at Texas Children's. Just searched ones specializing in Diabetes and Endocrinology. One did stand out to me:

Dr. Min-Jye Chen. Located at The Woodlands. Her interests include general endocrinology. Her research interests in hypospadias and epidemiological factors caught my attention (since it was reported Little Jacob had undergone a circ at some point in his life). I know I'm weird. lol!

Also came across Dr. Shannon French. She has a clinical interest in Turner Syndrome. Made me think of little Haleigh Cummings. :(

I'm thinking sexual abuse/rape from the latest article:

“Evidence collected at the scene and during autopsy is limited. DNA samples were collected and submitted to multiple labs in hopes of identifying the boy or anyone else that came into contact with him.”

https://www.nbcnews.com/dateline/in...age-little-jacob-young-boy-who-washed-n841406

Or there was clothing found with DNA other than Little Jacob's and they just are not releasing that information yet. What were those few pieces of evidence???

Aside from Little Jacob’s body, itself, few pieces of evidence were able to be recovered from the scene.

snipped for focus

LE was all over everybody after Bella. My neighbors were questioned extensively because they had taken their 4-year-old daughter out of preschool for the summer; LE made them produce the child and somebody else (me) who could vouch for her identity. And we live 25 miles outside of Boston. It was amazing how thorough they were. I can imagine that they were really hard on the poorer ethnic communities nearer the water. Yes, they did seem to think she was Hispanic.

I agree with whoever said he looks more middle eastern or maybe even Sri Lanka/Pakistani/Indian. But I think there are some other physical and genetic traits that would show up in that case.

Tuberculosis?

Also right in the middle of river flow. His remains could’ve missed washing up against the breakwater but not sure. My hydrologist friend may still be on WS. Will check him out. Anyway, with limited knowledge of river flow, met and I thought East Beach was likely.
