I know they were just arrested, but any idea how long this has been in the works?

I only ask because I saw her name mentioned in this public notices thing out of Harris County in early may. Different county but maybe that's where they were living? Anyone know?

It mentions another child (age 3) with same last name as Jayden. And I think the presser mentioned another child age 3. So I am assuming this is the same Rebecca Suzanne Rivera.

One of the news reports says they got the tip from someone who knew the “family” on January 30th.

Autopsy results are inconclusive about how the child died, but he did not drown. His body showed signs of neglect and injuries consistent with abuse, detectives say.

We are seeing so many of these abuse cases where the child is thin leading up to their death. Starvation/malnutrition seems to be a common element, moo. Heartbreaking.

in one article they jumped out a window. also mentions they interviewed the gf at an ICE detention center. maybe they took gf into custody for being undocumented and then needed time to secure warrant? get DNA back?

I wish I had not seen the picture of little Jayden... he looks so sad. I’m sorry, little one, that your life was worth no more than trash to be dumped out to those who should have cherished you. I will pray for justice for you every single day until it comes.

I pray they don’t let either of these women out so we don’t see them escape earthly justice for what they’ve done like that Glass woman did in the Lucas Hernandez case. I’m so sickened at how the natural love a parent should have, heck even just a person should have, for a child is so often not there.
