One of the reason was because of her (defendent's age).

Also, Maybe the Pros. thought the jury would not vote for the death penalty.

So, according to an attending physician, there was evidence of a sexual assault. I wonder what the defense will try to do with that? And then MM gave three different stories about what happened, one being that this was the result of arts and crafts gone wrong, with grace taping her own mouth. Geeze Louise.

I'm wondering if the sexual assault is just Melinda using something to make it appear there was a violation, which could go along with her story. They had not released that part of the story when it all first happened, and it broke my heart reading it today.

According to testimony from Grace’s ER doctor, he noticed injuries to her genital area, and detectives ordered that doctors do a sexual assault exam on the toddler.

In MOO MM staged the whole thing to look like a sexual assault on both her and GF. How twisted do you have to be to actually carry out that plan? I am thankful she will not have the opportunity to raise her son.
