If mom is not familiar with NG's style, I hope she's told by somebody that NG can be......blunt....to put it nicely.

No kidding...she might ask her why she would allow the BF to be alone in the house with her 13-yr old, right off the bat.

Does anyone know if basic searches have been done locally? I don't know what the town is like, are there open fields, wooded areas? Have people been asked to check their properties?

I checked other surrounding area media and don't see anything there...I also emailed some of them with information about Hailey, when I first saw this thread...but haven't heard a peep back.

Understanding how things in this area "typically" work...I think LE or family needs to send info so it will be taken more seriously..here are the places I emailed and additional media sources for W. Texas.

Hello guys. I was directed to this site/forum by a friend. I live in Snyder - about 20 miles north of Colorado City. For the last few days, I've just been reading all of your posts and have been amazed by how influential you guys are in bringing attention to this story. I agree with most of you in that Hailey did not simply run away. What confuses me the most is that the Snyder Daily News (local newspaper here) has yet to put a picture of Hailey on the front page. They've simply run a short story on her. I have, however, seen several flyers around town at gas stations and the grocery store. Anyways, I just wanted to share my thoughts. Keep up the good work guys.

WS is full of wonderful people...they never cease to amaze me...I love it here...

Those of you in the Abilene, Lubbock, or Midland TV coverage areas check the news tonight. Billie will have another interview. Abilene - KTXS and KTAB, Midland - CBS7, and Lubbock - KMAC. They should all have broadcasts at 6, 9, and 10.

I just caught the 5 o'clock KTXS broadcast. Again, they did not show all of the interview with Billie, and so far have no statement from LE. It was reported that the PD is currently preparing a statement.

And I'm sure no one will forget to watch Nancy Grace after all the tweeting and posting.

I emailed KCBD yesterday and I guess someone else may have also because they had it on their news at noon today and I just watched it on the 5 o' clock on KTXS. The police are supposed to give a statement later.
BTW: KCBD is in Lubbock, and hopefully the other stations will pick it up also.
