I'm thinking (and hoping) that when LE says no sign of foul play, that is why they say possible runaway, but that they still are looking into all possibilties. It sounds as though they are.

I was away over the weekend and just got caught up. Here is the map that I created, though it is not much of one. Still don't have an address for Hailey's father to add that to the map. I know it is across the stree, but which way. I am curious to see which direction she was headed and which direction she changed route to. Also, an address for the friend that she was supposed to be staying with.

LE needs to get rid of the runaway label stat. Amber Dubois was another case that was wrongly labled a runaway.

Billie was told that RSOs were checked out. She doesn't know if it was a 'knock and ask' or a full search.

Do you know if they searched the homes and vehicles of both parent's and BF who was last to see her? Did they search wherever BF lives when he is not staying with Billye? Did they just now ask for the cell phone records? Is Billie's phone the only one being followed up? Thanks!

Here is an update: Several Texas Rangers are here in Colorado City meeting with local LE agencies. At the moment they are having a meeting.

KTAB contacted Billie and are coming for an interview. KTXS called her and let her know they are on their way back because "It's been a week and we want some answers." Even though they are only local stations, it is still coverage.... and hopefully, if they start raising valid questions, the big stations will be more likely to pick up the story.

CC is a very small rural town. The population is about 4,000. You could probably drive thru it in 2 minutes.

There are 24 registered sex offenders there. Two with residents on Haileys street.

Does anyone know how to go about obtaining the assistance of a crime victim advocate for Hailey's family? This would be someone who could help them know if they are entiled to more than vague updates, or help them to understand why some info must be kept confidential, even from the parents.

I get the impression that Hailey's Mom is a bit hesitant to assertively ask for info. I can think of no good reason CCPD would need to withold info such as the extent of sex offender searches.

I did yesterday czgtz...it was from KWES9 - the other was from Sweetwater Reporter...they didn't ask anything specific, just said "thanks"...literally, that was it...but, it's ok because I see that they ran the story today...THANK GOD!

If i don't hear anything back today from the others...I will send my 3rd round...either way, i will pm you the info.

Just getting Hailey listed on her page is HUGE...why do I continue to be surprised at our diligence and compassion...once again, the reason I love this place!

One thing I can say...regardless of how anyone feels about NG - if we could get her to cover this-the questions we are asking would be asked / answered...I'm sure.

And...the article that is linked on NG page is full of comments asking similar questions posed here! I pray the producers read them...if they do, I would imagine they would run Hailey's case on the show...for sure!
