Did you see the witness? I got a gut feeling he was kinda odd & why was he reluctant to face the camera? He turned towards it (slightly) only a few xs but mostly kept his back to it..If he didn't want to be identified he could've given his interview without allowing them to show his face at all.

Yes, the Metroplex and other areas of TX are getting ice and snow but it isn't this far west. I'm in Sweetwater (just east of CCity) and there is no precipitation in the forcast for the next week.

I wish we knew for sure if Hailey was talking on the phone on Monday at all. If so, who was she talking to? Otherwise we really can't even confirm that she was seen at all on Monday. We have only SA's word. Billie didn't see her daughter after Sunday night and Clint claims the same.

I feel that whoever she was talking to is a critical piece of information. LE has that phone, right? If so, they know what calls were made. Maybe that's why they are concentrating the search door to door in the local area. Could it be possible that she met up with an older guy (over 18) and she is scared to come home with so much publicity and people searching? If the guy is over 18 and has his own home, he would be afraid of being arrested.

theres a house on the side street which i guess is 18th that faces Haileys backyard. its fixed cute with lawn/plant type decorations. looks like retired people, i am wondering if this is where the witness lives.

also if Hailey crossed the field, she would walk past the backside of several duplexes. All who would have view of her walking. I hope those people were interviewed extensively.

What if the other witness wasn't credible? What if he didn't see her talking on the phone that day? This would mean Hailey could have actually vanished anytime between Christmas and the day her mom reported her missing.

I agree the neighbor should be looked into as well cause I've had the same thoughts as you.

The one witness statement and sighting that I believe to be credible is the one that had apparently saw Hailey with MB & MB's boyfriend the Monday night that Hailey was last seen. The reason I believe that she is credible is simply because this person knows what MB's boyfriend looks like. We've never seen a picture of MB or her boyfriend at all since this case first started so this sighting came from someone who knows all three kids personally & know whats they look like. JMO

I'd also be interested in knowing if anyone was visiting or staying at MB's house the day Hailey went missing. And I mentioned it before, but everyone who lives in the area should try to remember if they saw anyone who might be visiting a neighbor, someone out of the ordinary (which is very possible since it was the holiday season).

Do we know if there are cameras outside the Alco store pointing at the street? If that was the route Hailey was walking the cameras might have catched her.

Unless I have missed something, nobody seems to be denying that HD's scent was at the Western Suites. Whether it was old, new, she was in a car, walking, picked up willingly, kidnapped, or someone had her clothes on their person, the scent was found there. They need to find the link to the hotel. Why is a 13 y/o at a local hotel? Or who was staying or parked there that had her scent with them?

If she was meeting a male (any age) that day or any day, her closest friends knew. If they know, they need to come forward. If the friends truly don't know, HD was caught off guard whether by someone known to her or a stranger.

I don't know how the dogs work, but could the dogs be taken back to the spot they smelled HD and told to pick up on another scent and follow it?

I really should stay off the FB pages for this case. NO, the family should NOT be out searching with everyone. NEVER! Please please, keep the family away from the searching. There isn't a pro out there that should tell you otherwise. There is a long list of reasons why.

On a side note, Colorado City Police investigated a possible abduction early Saturday morning. A 15-year-old girl was in Colorado City visiting and reported that a man tried to force her into his vehicle. Police have determined that the girl was a runaway from Lubbock and charges are now pending against her. Investigators do not believe the incident has anything to do with the disappearance of Hailey Dunn.

I think what she said was that Hailey had never spent the night at MB's before, not that MB had never spent the night with Hailey.

I hope that this case does not end up like the Jessica Lunsford kidnapping and murder. It seems like LE delayed taking Hailey's disapearance seriously and now the trail is cold. She could have been alive in a neighbors' house as was the case with Jessica. They were looking miles away and she had been right across the street all along.

Actually there have been a number of LE sources who have said this information has been discredited. Given what I know about the dogs used, their expertise, when they were called in and the lack of anything other than a possible hit, I am going to go with this be a false positive, it happens. Bring in another round of different SAR dogs, try again. If they all do the same thing then yes, there is something to it. Right now I say no.

Give the dogs a different person's scent article and yes, they'll follow a different person at the same place if that person was there.

I really would be stunned if they have not brought in another set of dogs by now, though Team Adam does not appear to be on the case, and again, we don't know for a fact that the big guns that are now involved really have the knowledge to to think to do this.

Also one of the enemies listed on Hailey's myspace by Hailey lives on Delaney Cir - the same street as her dad CD. Am sure LE would have checked into this and the area around the water towers a short distance from Delaney Circle.

Guess I should make a wish list for Sparky - maybe he is reading on WS for some ideas.

No disrespect at all towards IRS agents, lol... just trying to put into perspective how intimidating the Board of Nursing is (and no disrespect towards them either).

Of course I am upset by the story.... not because it was reported that Billie has had her nursing license temporarily revoked, or that Clint was arrested several times. These two things are true, but are in NO WAY relevant to Hailey's disappearance. Yes, I understand that the media is going to dig. Everyone expects that.

As for the rest of the story, and some of the people quoted.... I wonder if the reporter even considered that it was libel? I stand by my previous opinion that some people will pull things out of thin air just to have something to say. The people who love Billie and desperately want Hailey home know that there is a very big BS factor to this particular story.

And just as an FYI, I left that 'reporter' (and I am using that term loosely) a message. We will see if he calls me back.

Not sure if I'm looking at the same thing, but in looking at the attempted abduction of the runaway from Lubbock.... If what she said is true, than there is someone either in the town or passing through it that is trying to abduct girls. It's not a far stretch to see the possibility that maybe he already has.....

It might have checked out. In the Somer Thompson case there was a report of an attempted abduction of a little girl very close to where Somer disappeared, just before her disappearance. The Sheriff even had the woman who witnessed the abduction speak at a press conference soon after Somer went missing to describe the car the supposed abductor was driving. But when the sheriff's office investigated the attempted abduction they determined it was just a misunderstanding. The supposed abductor was actually an off duty law enforcement officer who had seen a young girl fall off her bike and stopped to ask if she was OK.
