No disrespect at all towards IRS agents, lol... just trying to put into perspective how intimidating the Board of Nursing is (and no disrespect towards them either).

Of course I am upset by the story.... not because it was reported that Billie has had her nursing license temporarily revoked, or that Clint was arrested several times. These two things are true, but are in NO WAY relevant to Hailey's disappearance. Yes, I understand that the media is going to dig. Everyone expects that.

As for the rest of the story, and some of the people quoted.... I wonder if the reporter even considered that it was libel? I stand by my previous opinion that some people will pull things out of thin air just to have something to say. The people who love Billie and desperately want Hailey home know that there is a very big BS factor to this particular story.

And just as an FYI, I left that 'reporter' (and I am using that term loosely) a message. We will see if he calls me back.

I would strongly urge you to not get sucked into the petty gossip but remain focused on finding Hailey and helping her mom hold it together. Why waste time and energy on stuff that doesn't really matter?

Not sure if I'm looking at the same thing, but in looking at the attempted abduction of the runaway from Lubbock.... If what she said is true, than there is someone either in the town or passing through it that is trying to abduct girls. It's not a far stretch to see the possibility that maybe he already has.....

After talking with a witness and the girl, investigators believed the girl to be a runaway from Lubbock and began questioning the kidnapping claim, said Trooper Sparky Dean, an Abilene-area DPS spokesman.

The 15-year-old, whose name was not released due to her age, could face a misdemeanor charge of filing a false report to a police officer, Dean said.

I have a pretty good hinky meter. It did not go off regarding Jonathans parents, and seeing BD, SA, and CD on Nancy Grace my hinky meter did not go off at all. If BD is involved, she should get an academy award for her performance. She is completely convincing IMO. When I look at the map I am most concerned about the houses involved being very close to I-20. Have there been any other disappearances close to I-20? Any others in the area?

I would also like to know if it is still possible for the dogs to pick up a scent. Seems like a long time.

Sounds like this young lady ran away but wanted to go back home but was scared to for fear of getting in trouble and her way out was to make up an abduction story. IMO

ETA: Okay - they don't know if it was Sunday or Monday. But they saw them on Manuel Street, walking with Hailey. Manuel is the street connecting Clint and Billie's homes. This is a NEW witness. So I guess this may be the 2nd witness who may have seen Hailey on Monday, walking with another girl... and either a girl/boy? Wonder if someone confused the 3rd person for the wrong gender.

I agree the neighbor should be looked into as well cause I've had the same thoughts as you.

The one witness statement and sighting that I believe to be credible is the one that had apparently saw Hailey with MB & MB's boyfriend the Monday night that Hailey was last seen. The reason I believe that she is credible is simply because this person knows what MB's boyfriend looks like. We've never seen a picture of MB or her boyfriend at all since this case first started so this sighting came from someone who knows all three kids personally & know whats they look like. JMO

It was my understanding that a witness said she saw H & MB with a boy she had never seen before, not someone who was MB's boyfriend, unless I got that part wrong. And no of course we don't know if this witness was correct/verfied.

I mean, we aren't talking a huge metro area here, we are talking small-town USA, so this "witness" has to know that their information would have been most valuable in the beginning, not two weeks later.

If they had been asking these questions on Tuesday the 28th people would have likely remembered if it was Sun or Mon. Why can't LE understand they need to get all this done in the first hours, now information and witness accounts get vague and skewed.

Small town though, the people there knew.......especially the kids, word spreads like wildfire. Why didn't they come forward before now?
