I can tell you that the searches I have volunteered for with TES, they have always asked us not to discuss specific search locations during an on going investigation.
Not sure if it was just the few that I went on or standard...but FWIW...I think it's a good idea to not disclose that information "publicly" at this time.

Tim does this because he had a body moved on him. The killer knew the search locations and moved the body to an area previously searched.
I think people would be shocked to find out how much bodies get moved around.
