I can feel so deeply for Hailey about fear of someone watching her and scaring her.
When I was about 10 yrs. my GF's bro, put on a werewolf Halloween mask, hid and came after us. (today very nice dad) I never got over it..........no werewolf stuff for me.

I saw that earlier. Because of the overall sloppiness of the media these days, I am unsure if they misquoted her or if she told NG (and her friend who posted here late last night) a different story. Thoughts?

ok, I think I know why Hailey's cheerleader picture bothers me. It might be giving the perp(S), a thrill. If Shawn is guilty, I think he's getting off on the cheerleader sensationalism aspect...gives this sad story, a horror movie, vibe. (not to me, but to him?). I'm sorry, but that uniform & cheerleader label, take away from Hailey's idenity. Her grandma said she plays(ed), softball & basketball, so why didn't Billie submit one of those, for her missing poster? or how about a regular school picture?

I think for her Mom she thinks that only good girls can be cheerleaders, as well as only the most popular are able to get those positions...So that would be my guess as to why that photo was chosen.

yes yes yes ask about the masks - did BD know of them? were they ever in her house? did BD ever see SA with his on? did BD ever wear any of them? did Sa ever have one on around either Hailey or DD?

NG completely left the masks out last night. Ask about BD's knowledge of these masks.

50/50, It could be a misquote, but the way BD changes stories, it may be her. AP is usually pretty accurate though. I wondered if things might have been pointed out to her today, so she figured she might as well own up to it. NG asking about watching the "ball drop"....that was pretty specific, I think BD knows she was busted on it.

There's something that's been eating at me. On the NG show, Billie said that the reason Hailey didn't like Shawn, was because she wanted her parents back together. That statement takes all blame off Shawn, (poor guy's just stuck in the middle), puts indirect blame on Clint, & makes Hailey look unreasonable. Billie knew about the death threats, & I'm convinced she knew a lot more, but she hid those reasons, & tried to make this situation, look 'normal'. She may thinks she's good, but because of her non stop explaining away, she's gonna trip up big. & even though her daughter was missing, she was still protecting Shawn. Why would she do that?

I could NOT believe this:

Hailey Dunn, the Texas girl missing for nearly three weeks, was scared of her mother's boyfriend Shawn Adkins, and said he would stand in the doorway of her bedroom at night watching her.

This would have lasted for 10 seconds if this was my BF and my daughter. He would have been toss out on his arse.

My great niece told me that she did not feel safe as her Mother was allowing a new boyfriend to spend the night (not move in just spend the night). This little 9 year old girl told me that she just did not think that was right. My siblings started having babies while I was still in dating mode. I told all of my nieces (that's all I got ), from the time they were little, that if ANYONE I brought around them made them feel uncomfortable, to let me know and I would take care of it. I emphasized that no one would ever be more important to me than they are. And these girls aren't even my own daughter! I cannot get the lack BDs of concern and protection for HD for some creepy little boyfriend. It makes no sense.
