I am VERY behind on this case/threads, so forgive me for posting anything already discussed or ruled out.

On my daily morning CBS "Crimesider" blog cruise today, I stumbled upon a post stating that Hailey's mother's (BD) boyfriend is now a person of interest, and BD herself is now looking very shady, after failing a poly and cops finding news articles about adolescent sex crime/serial murder cases in her car. WHOA. More here:

I think Mom and Boyfriend JUST implicated themselves.

Also, BD says:
"The important thing people need to remember is not slandering me," said Dunn. "The important thing is there is a 13-year-old who it seems just disappeared into thin air."

Ummm, how about "my little girl", or "my daughter", and not just "a 13-year-old"???? Who cares about YOU? RED FLAG.

just a little info on the 12 hour shift in hospitals: the reason they were started in the 90's was to increase the continuity of patient care... that way the same team of people (((including unit/ward clerks, aides, cleaning people, respiratory therapists, unit based pharms, etc etc))) in the patient care areas are with the patient for a longer period of time without switching and disrupting the care with a shift change every eight hours... this is to decrease errors and also provide, as I said, continuity of care...

There is also a huge financial consideration too. The facility saves money, lots of it.

IMO The "continuity of care" is simply how it they sell it.

If nurses work 12 hour shifts, then hospitals usually coordinate unit secretaries' shifts with the nurses' shifts, since they work in conjunction with nurses. I would imagine most nurses would prefer working with the same US throughout an entire shift rather than having a different one come in for the last few hours.

I wonder if SA and BD ever role-played infamous murders? Like SA would pretend to be the killer and BD would pretend be his victim?

Perhaps in the boudoir? Wasn't her screen name somewhere "Dirty Girl?"

MOO IMO

I see a theme here from SA and BD.......it's those mean old LE twisting every thing we say. Please, somebody tell them it's not working, only making them look worse.

I was awake in bed last night after logging off, thinking about Terri Horman and Shawn Adkins. If both turn out to be guilty, that is pretty scary. Terri "seems" on the surface, before Kyron went missing, to be a normal, upper-middle class mom, while SA seems, on the surface, to be an immature man into some very freaky, scary things, who can become violent and/or abusive. He is much more in line of what we think of as someone who could do something like this, but if they both are guilty, then it makes even less sense...as though almost anyone could turn out to be someone who can do these horrible, inexplicable things...

I think you need to add Misti Croslin/Cummings to that list...she was the brainless/drug addled, underaged (17 yr. old girlfriend/babysitter) that dear ole boy Ronald Cummings (age 25) married so that he would not be charged as a Sex Offender! Bioy that was a long sentence...but you get the idea! LOL

Dear God...Please Bring Hailey Home Alive!!!

I hope the interviews were taped :waitasec:

I would bet you a C-Note the interviews were taped by LE! LE usually tapes any statements. Very likely, SA and BD were advised they were being taped and was asked if it was okay with them.

Sa and BD make themselves look even more as if they are not telling the truth when they deny what LE put in their afidavits.

Maybe her shift started at 6:30AM then, since they were taking money from ATM before 7pm...

Looking at the timeline, there seems to be a lot of time spent in Snyder after work that day. It says she was picked up at 5:45?

It also says they got home about 7:30 and she says they spent about 15 minutes at her mother's in "North" Snyder?

So she either left work early that day, or the withdrawal was from an ATM close to or in the hospital where she works and she just gave SA the cash to go make the purchase.

I think that's why he did the AP interview. He can't talk to BD about anything, and on the last NG it appeared she may be wavering, so he has to get her back under control. They are speaking to each other via the media.

i worked in a hospital ER just west of Snyder...our unit secretaries worked 8 hr shifts...7a-3p & 3p-11p

I wonder where the writer of the article confirmed his information. Did he ask BD directly? Ask someone who worked at the facility (who may actually work 12 hours)....I am really wondering if there is a possibility that the hours may have been mis-reported. ??

If that were true, that would be bad....very very bad.

O/T: My mother was a very disciplined RN. She was of the starched & ironed white stocking variety. She is 87 years old now and in good health.

On topic: Thanks, nursebeeme, for being so informative! You are appreciated!

****Also, I may be interested in true crime, but never in my life have I printed out actual articles that I read and formed a collection of them. I read an article online, and I move on. ****

IMO He is starting to get jealous of all the media attention Billie is getting. He wants his close-up!

Ohhh I so miss that variety! Loved the little with hat thingys and the freshly polished white shoes with the white stockings. Last time I was in the ER, I was appauled at the nurses scuffed & dirty shoes. That scares me!

http://www.cbs7.com/news/details.asp?ID=23345

Police have not named Dunn a person of interest but they have issued search warrants for her car and home, where they found printouts of at least 16 different articles related to sex crimes and serial killings, some of them involving adolescents.

Rather poorly worded, but sounds like...home was only place they found the articles.
