After remaining tight lipped Thursday about investigation into the disappearance of 13-year-old Hailey Dunn, law enforcement in Colorado City may be ready to reveal new information about the case Friday. Investigators continue to be very sensitive about any information they release fearing it could compromise their case.

I know how Hailey felt. When I was 14 or 15, I had a neighbor that went to work at 4:00 in the morning. His wife was afraid to be in house by herself so my cousin or I would spend the night with her and her 2 young sons. (I Don't Know how a young girl was going to protect her! I guess she felt safer with someone else in the house with her.) Anyway, one night I woke up and the guy was sitting in the lighted bathroom smoking a ciggy (it was across the hall from the extra Bedroom) and he was watching me sleep. I just ignored him and pretended to curl up with my back to him. I don't remember if it was summer, with no blankets or winter and I was under the covers. But, I do remember closing my bedroom door afterwards. I was a heavy sleeper, so he could have cracked open the door again and I never even knew it. I haven't ever told a soul about what happened! Here I am a Nana and I am telling you guys one of my deepest, darkest secrets!

I haven't had many words for this entire mess. And usually, this is not a problem for me Usually I look & read and know. The affidavits did help me know some things - finally.
1) LE was hindered, not helped, from the get-go.
2) SA richly deserves his official POI status.
3) BD is a manipulator/liar.

Now-I know there are folks who don't think so. But I've known such people up close..people who make you think that you must be crazy as they insist on, shall we say, their "discernment of the truth". There's a whole book about these kinds. "People of the Lie-the Psychology of Evil" (Scott Peck).

Am I certain of her level of involvement? No. Am I certain that she twists reality to fit her own agenda? About 99.9% And 100% that her "discernment of the truth" damages and hurts others left and right. People who "aren't like us" is a nice bit of projection. IMO, MOO, etc.

Not a good way to start my day! When I read the article, this stood out to me:

"It upsets me. It surprises me. It seems like maybe I didn't know him as well as I thought I did if he made some of those statements," said Dunn.

He threatened to kill you and BD - FACT. We have video where he's dressing up like some creature with a butcher knife in his hand, and possibly the remains of an animal. You are included in this video. I'm assuming you saw it BD.

Absolutely. For one, he certainly doesn't seem the praying type of guy (IMO). Two - if he's really concerned then he needs to cooperate with LE. As far as I know he's not talking to them or BD. That says a lot right there!

Yep, she even talked about him coming back to the house after this whole Hailey thing is cleared up, even though SA was already widely suspected of involvement.

Wondering if his whole life, he's been able to lie his way through things with his mom and dad because I can't believe he thinks he'll just deny this, without mind to all that stacks up against him, and expect people to believe him.
PROVE IT, SHAWN! Take a lie detector test and sit through the whole way, answering all the questions, and then if they want to interrogate you, let them do it for however long it takes. Quit being an immature punk!

I have always thought SA was responsible for Haleigh's disappearance but I was on the the fence about BD. That was until I visited the Parking Lot. At this point, I don't care whether she was directly involved. She knew what SA and his friends were like and she exposed her daughter to that. I can't even imagine the fear Haleigh lived in everyday. I would have been terrified!

Regarding LE wanting to search under the house....
I wonder if they have seen something on the outside perimeter of the house. Maybe along where one can get in the crawl space area, that looks as if it has been changed. Maybe some new wood, nails, places where the ground has been disturbed. Something that looks different or odd.
Maybe there is something down there....or else dogs have been messing along the outside.

OMG! this is exactly where im at with this too... seeing her included in that has really changed my opinion of her and this ENTIRE situation. i cant even begin to imagine how scared hd probably was of sa, but i really have to wonder what she could have been feeling about bd for having sa shacked up in their house and what if any changes in bd's attitude/personality etc. have there been since sa showed up in her life.

Well, on NG one of the problems is she is hearing NG in her ear buds and it takes time for he question to be transferred. Some might say people that are lying often pretend they can't hear too. I don't agree with your assessment of BD at all. I don't think she is slow but anything is possible.
