Anybody else wonder why no appearence on NG tonight for BD?

Actually, the 3 calls were made from SA's phone to "Billie", that's why I'm wondering if she had her phone that day or was SA trying to call HD.

Don't recall actually hearing this, but even if this is the case.... do we have the time for these calls? We know that he left before her. Is it possible that it was after he left but before she did? I think he left quite a bit before she did?

You know, as much media as this story is getting, my two sisters in TX still don't know what I am talking about, even after I told them yesterday. One is in Houston and one outside of Dallas and both work and drive every day. And NG really does not have as huge an audience as people think, somewhere around 1/2 million as a rule. Neither the Dallas Morning News or Houston Chronicle show her on their websites.

But anyway, I don't think Hailey ever left CC alive...

HD's scent was NOT in room but just outside? Or actually in the lot?

They had a possible hit in the lot, which they then explained away. It was not a trail. They did not trail up to the motel. The dogs were brought to the motel to clear the area. They then made a positive alert but could not do anything with it. Couldn't lead out of the lot, couldn't lead to a motel room door, nothing.

These are prison dogs, I don't believe they are used to doing this kind of work. My guess is they were confused and gave a false alert.

You're right and I'll go by what LE is saying and there's so much evidence piling up agst thier suspect.All I'm saying is there's thousands of dollars in donations sent to parents in missing children's cases,there's been a long standing custody issue or who she wants to live with and the one thing lacking is money.There's drugs on both sides and plenty of public videos to show what kind of person SA is,but still LE should be allowed to do thier job and handle this or we're going to see a case like the last one.

I read somewhere, and I'm pretty sure it was one of the affidavits, it was a detailed story.

IIRC, it was 2 officers questioning him, and it even gave the officers' names. One officer asked to see Shawn's phone, and he saw 3 calls to Billie on it. As they continue to question him, a discrepancy arises, and the officer thinks didn't he just see these calls on the phone, so he asks to see the phone again to verify. ( I don't think he told Shawn he wanted to verify, though.) Shawn erases the calls and gives him the phone, the officer sees the calls are gone, asks Shawn what happened to them, and Shawn says, IDK.

I haven't had time to read all the posts on this thread, and I haven't gone to any outside sources unless they were linked in here, so whereever I read this, IMO, it has to be in here somewhere.

GRACE: When we were told that -- when police wanted to look at his cell phone, he started deleting numbers, did he explain that to you?

DUNN: What he told me was, they wanted to see where he had called me at work. He showed it to them on his phone. They said, OK, gave it back to him, and they said show me again. And he says it wasn`t there.

So sad for Hailey that mom can't think of anything else to say to a reporter. No plea. No "Hailey I love you". Nada.

It's also maddening when you think of all the families with missing persons and possible runaways who would do anything to get the press coverage and chance to reach out.

I think the officer giving him the phone back at all is weird , I had to be interveiwed by LE and phone calls became a question and they kept my phone until they wanted to give it back. And it less serious.

As far as DD[Hailey's bro} I have not seen hardly a peep about/from him..except for the his account that was in the affidavit stating that he arrived home at 4pm on Dec.27{Mon} after having spent the previous nite with a friend..he banged on the door for 5mins with noone answering, so he climbs thru a window to get in where he sees SA in the hallway and DD says that SA had that "deer caught in the headlights" look..

We also now are beginning to lean toward DD's time of last seeing Hailey, which was 9pm Dec 26{Sunday nite} when he was leaving home to go spend the nite with a friend, DD states that he saw Hailey in the living room, playing his Xbox{and according to LE DD estimated Hailey's skill level of that particular game and estimated that most likely she wouldve played the game til around mid-nite}..

With the sighting by a neighbor that Hailey was spotted in back yard around noon of Dec.27{Mon} talking on a cell phone..THIS ACCOUNT HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO BE VERIFIED.. So many of us{here at WS}are using DD's acct of last seeing Hailey at 9pm Dec.26th{Sunday nite} as a reliable "last time to see Hailey alive..{given that none of us give SA's acct of her leaving home at 3:15 on Mon.27th any validity..IMO a crock}
So, thats all I can think of that we know about DD and his acct of the happenings of that day and the nite before}

And then as far as BD's family members.. Billie has mentioned several..Her mom lives on North side of Snyder, Tx, she mentioned that her 2 brothers came in town and were at her home with their wives and grandchildren NEw Yrs Eve/Day{she said there for support}.. The affidavits mention a Brother of Billies, R.O. that told LE of his cono with SA..that Uncle R.O. said he couldn't undertand how someone could even hurt a little girl and that SA immediately chimed in and said"yea, it'd be just like killing a deer"..The uncle followed up by telling LE about SA's strange use of chainsaws on the deer he hunted...

The only other mention of BD family that I can think of off the top of my head was mentioned by Billie last nite on NG..when asked about why might SA have mentioned Scurry Co to LE and Billies reply was that because she and Hailey had alot of family and friends in the Scurry Co area..

This is BD's version. She always has a cleaned up sanitized version of events it seems. The cops have a different version of the incident.
