So Hailey was lying to all these people when she told them she was scared of SA or Billie is lying that it wasnt SA it was Hailey getting in his face and screaming at him. Did I get that right?
Somehow I tend to believe what Hailey told them because that may people sure didnt make it up and I dont believe Hailey was making it up either. jmo

Yep I think it was and as a matter of fact I think the one airing now was Wednesday's show. It was the show that BD is actually wearing a "Hailey is missing" t-shirt. I've only seen her wear it one time on this one show.

the show w/ the Hailey t-shirt was the 12th, IIRC.

You know, for someone who says that this is the FIRST time she had heard that Hailey was afraid of Shawn ..the expression on Billie's face as grandma is talking about it is just as flat as a pancake...

On another topic, someone brought up a similarity between something SA said and something that either Misty or Ron Cummings said. The possibility was brought up that since SA and BD like true crimes, it is possible that they watch Nancy Grace, and decided to copy some of the crimes they saw on the show. Does anyone see any another similarities between Hailey's disappearance and other recent or infamous cases? Can we think of a case where the missing person vanished while walking to a friend's house?

what really bothers me is that I would have sworn that Billie said (when NG asked) that SA never threatened Hailey and she didn't know why he told LE that..<that is NOT verbatim...I'll go see if I can find it, but when I heard it I thought..does she REALLY think anyone will buy that?..really? He told LE that he did for no reason? You or Hailey hadn't told them that first?

yes I could see him lying and completely making things up.

So he says all this crap about Hailey being on Birth control and being boy crazy trying to make Hailey look bad and mom look like she is lying with the birth control issue, ect.. At some point in this he completely turned on BD.

No more being supportive and telling LE all the wonderful things about Hailey.
I think it was the point Billie started to question the stuff she couldnt pass the lie detector over.

Do you think Shawn had anything to do with this?
Do you think shawn knows where Hailey is etc..

Everyday she finds out more stuff .. the job ,the trip to the house, the locking her son out of the house..
I do believe Shawn was telling BS in every reguard he could think of in a blind em with BS tactic.

I really believe the reason Shawn left was because she was asking him questions.

Yeah she is taking on the Adam Baker role.

Yeah she is taking on the Adam Baker role.

I know that Adam Baker is Zahra's father but I don't know much about that case or about his involvement in it. Can you expand on that?

Ya know - I'm so hoping that NG covers this again starting on Monday. Since the last NG show so much more has been uncovered. The masks, the yt videos, mm site, etc.
We know NG got those as members here scrambled to send them in. I can't imagine what NG must have thought when she got them and looked at them.

Maybe its me - but what I find so very hard to believe is that BD knew nothing of this "side" of SA. She was with him for over 2 years - that's a long time. Even if she didn't know about it all - surely a little bit here, a video there, had to have leaked through. With that - how she can sit there on camera and say IDK, IDK, this is the first I'm hearing of this, just doesn't ring true.

OK, I reread the affidavits.

The only thing I see that Billie is disputing is the new year's eve party.

JMO, I think that regarding the Feb. 2010 domestic dispute, SA said during recent questioning that he threatened Billie and Hailey. I find it hard to believe that if a grown man threatened to kill a child, that LE would have just walked away from it.

US Legal.com's definition: "A domestic dispute is generally any quarrel, which may or may not include violence, within a family or between members of the same household."

BBM

I'm trying to follow you here...are you saying that there was no police report alleging these threats? Or, are you saying that you think SA just mentioned this during recent questioning?

I ask because, according the affidavit and search warrants released, it clearly states that SA was alleged to have threatened HD and BD during the domestic dispute in February 2010, for which CCPD responded.

"'The Colorado City Police Department responded to **** Chestnut Street in February of 2010 to a domestic dispute. SA was alleged to have threatened to kill BJD and HD during the dispute.SA first informed investigators he never threatened HD, but later confirmed to investigators he did in fact threaten the lives of both BJD and HD during the dispute."

It is like she is trying to have no expression-no reaction.

czgtz,

another question. Has BD said if LE checked SA (and her) for marks - ie: injuries, scratches, small cuts, bruises, etc.?

ETA - AND did BD and/or SA play XBox with either DD or Hailey? If they did - did they enjoy it and get as caught in it as the kids did? How often would BD or SA play with them? How long would they play? What games were they playing?

Thankx!

I know I have used this analogy before, but considering Billie's response or lack of response to all the suspicion pointed Shawn's direction....

My German Shepherd puppy was in my hubby's care when he bolted across the street and got hit by a car. My DH LOVES my dog as much as I do. He was heartbroken and too full responsibility for the *accident* which had left my dog with a broken fully degloved puppy leg with now closed growth plates (translates to 7 surgeries and thousands of dollars).

I knew it was an accident, I felt bad for my husband and his obvious guilt. But I am human and there was a part of me that was FURIOUS and blamed him for letting it happen.

When I take those emotions and apply them to my child, who I don't know where she is, anyone with any common sense suspects him to some degree, she somewhat kind of sort of acknowledges that gee maybe he could have something to do with it, that is what they keep beating into her head anyway.

It *seems* to me when projecting on to this case that there would be a flip out somewhere along the way, tears, begging him to tell her if he knows, anger, fury, threats of bodily harm.

She has been on live television with a skilled interviewer who would love to have that flip out occur on her airways, she has led her right down the road to lash out at him.

The emotions and words regarding Shawn seem too controlled to me.
Doesn't ring true to me at all.

Think of Kyron's mother and the anger you could see seeping out of her long before Terri was called a suspect. Even if she didn't think she had first hand involvement at that moment, she was ANGRY, rational or irrational. She was pissed.

The thing I don't understand about this is that tonight we were told that BD denied that SA had ever threatened BD or Hailey.

If these threats are in the original incident report from February, and SA admitted to them during his recent questioning, then BD, it seems to me, is lying when she says that there were never any threats made.

Am I missing something?

yep, or like if she was caught off guard and not sure what the 'appropriate' reaction should be, so she's stone faced until she can figure out how to act. I can't imagine her having no change of expression at all after hearing that for the first time..:waitasec:..blows what's left of my mind..

EXACTLY!!! I think we're all looking for that "MAMA LION" to roar and then pounce?

Even women that seem the most meek and mildest of females will explode on whoever is responsible for hurting their child. KWIM?
