snipped for space.

Add to that---BD found out on 12/29/2010 that SA quit his job...makes no sense to me why she would go on national TV and blatantly lie about this...I was able to give her the benefit of the doubt until the day she revealed this information, because she clearly knew SA was no longer working but lied on the show on 1/3/2011 - which was her first appearance on an national network---this behavior defies all logic for going on NG to gain attention to HD's case and garner assistance from the public.

snipped>
Billie told me earlier today that Shawn did not tell her about walking off of his job until Wenesday the 29th.

So...why did she lie?

Oh...there's also another post from czgtz (?) somewhere that says essentially the same thing...BD didn't find out until Wednesday that SA was no longer working.

Now, in all fairness we are comparing BD's quotes to CZ's quotes, not against known facts. Besides CZ, is there anywhere else where BD says she learned on 12/29?

Her cell is a pre-paid one so I dont think there is a bill. Hopefully LE has looked back many months. They still have the phone, and have not told her anything about any of the calls.

you are an  ! Billie is so lucky to have you. Just wanted to say that to you.

GRACE: Tell me what happened the day she went missing, Miss Dunn.

Billie Dunn, thanks for being with us. What happened in the polygraph?

BILLIE DUNN: Thanks for having us again. I don`t know. They had me very faithful (ph) in that test. We brought the polygraph up first. We asked for it, and they were told us -- they told us they were very confident in those tests. They -- I put a lot of confidence into those tests.

The first Friday they had it set up for us to take, we had taken Ativan the night before to go to sleep. They didn`t tell us we couldn`t have anxiety medicine. So when we were able to get it set up again -- Shawn had actually called them and asked them if he could come down and take it yet, and they said yes. They came, picked him up. He took his. I went in. They told me he failed it. I lost it, of course. I told them I had so much faith in that test.

Then they took me over to the courthouse. I took a polygraph test. I failed it, lost all faith in the test. A couple of other people failed it. One guy I do not know. One person took it three times, took it twice and failed it...

GRACE: Well, let me ask you this, Ms. Dunn...

BILLIE DUNN: ... then took it and passed it.

GRACE: Who administered the polygraph to you? Who was it?

BILLIE DUNN: His name was Matt. I believe there were two different...

GRACE: Well, was it the local -- was it the local police, the FBI? Was it the Texas Rangers?

BILLIE DUNN: No, he`s a polygrapher that came from Big Spring, out of town.

GRACE: OK, Billie Dunn -- everyone, with us is Hailey`s mother. What questions did they ask you? What`d they ask you?

BILLIE DUNN: They asked if I knew anything about the disappearance of Hailey, if I caused the disappearance of Hailey, and if there were any questions I was scared that he was going to ask me.

From someone who has taken many many many many polygraphs over the years. They DO NOY ask you what questions you're afraid of. They just don't That is the whole point of the polygraph - to watch your reactions to questions that are asked of you. If you're a perp I'm sure there are many questions that you be afraid of being asked while hooked up - but do you really think anyone is going to fess up to a polygrapher what they are? Why not just confess?

Responding again.
CZ, this account simply doesn't "add up" at all.
If she called LE for an unrelated incident there wouldn't be anything on file with police to place in the affadavit.
It really does seem like Billie seems to have "answers" for any question about what's been reported by LE... but none of them really "jive". I think that's why so many are questioning her being at all truthful.

there would be an incident report call. Not a police report.

In a incident report it shows a call came in and what dept was dispatch fire rescue or police. with the time date stamps etc.

if investigators ran the incident reports and saw there was a call they may have assumed it was domestic . And LE using LE tactics could have push forward with that to gain information about the call.. etc..

Bellyup - DD is putting on a brave face, but I know he is hurting badly. My daughter is his age, and is trying to look out for him in school, where the kids are brutal - as are the teachers.

My daughter has several times had to tell kids to STFU. I don't condone language like that from my kids, but in this case, I gave her a pass. Kids telling DD that his sister was famous, and asking horrible questions, and sometimes even accusing him of having something to do with it.

I had tried to get some people to set up a rotation of taking casseroles or something each night, so my daughter asked her FCCLA teacher if they could take something. The teacher agreed.

Then the story hit about the affidavits. The next morning, the teacher pulled my daughter aside, and told her that until everything was 'cleared up', they would not be helping the family in any way. The did give DD a $20 Sonic card.

Then, in one of her classes, the teacher took it upon himself to slam Billie, calling her names, accusing her of buying crack, and for several minutes was on a tirade. This was Friday. I will be filing a complaint with the superintendent. How dare the teachers comment on this as the authority figure in the classroom. My daughter said that you could have heard a pin drop.

This is a small town, and anything slightly scandelous always gets a lot of attention. You can imagine how Hailey's disappearance has rocked the town. You cant go anywhere without hearing rumors, speculation, and outright crap talking. So, multiply that 1000x in the high school. I feel so bad for DD. Not only is his sister missing, but he has to hear people calling his mom every name in the book.

Not aimed directly at you, just using your post to jump off of. :)

I see it as a direct yes or no question, not a "please elaborate for us" question.

"Are there any questions that you are afraid we are going to ask of you? yes or no?"

czgtz - Sorry to keep you awake. Bless your heart for coming here and for remaining so respectful. I couldn't do it -- not even half as well as you have. I know your goal is to help find Hailey and we all respect that. Forgive us for questioning everything - it's what we do day after day, case after case. Please don't take our questions as a personal attack, everyone is just trying to get the facts straight and help bring Hailey home. We all have the same goal.

Do you know if LE has been able to look under BD's house yet?

That is such a shame about DD, czgtz. And it isn't right at all. ITA that you should report that teacher - but don't just report it - keep on it - make sure they do something about it.

My prayers are with him and I hope his character is strong enough to help him hold his head high and get through all this. If you get a chance to talk to him, tell him that now is the time to be seeing just exactly who his real friends are. I'm sure there must be some of the kids supporting him - he needs those relationships right now and should stick close to them - like your daughter.

First to you, Ms. Dunn. Thank you for being with us. Ms. Dunn, why are they saying that you and the live-in boyfriend and the family have inconsistent statements? Who has changed their story?

BILLIE DUNN: I don`t know. I did ask one of the Rangers that because I heard that on the news last night also, and he`s supposed to be getting back with me. I asked him if there`s something I needed to clarify or something I need to know about.

GRACE: OK. I want to go back to you being told that you were deceptive on your polygraph test.

BILLIE DUNN: OK.

GRACE: Had you taken any drugs or smoked pot before the polygraph test?

BILLIE DUNN: No. But they knew I had taken some pain medicine and antibiotics for a bad tooth. They told us not to take any anxiety medication. I didn`t know I was going to take the test that day.

WillenFan - I said that LE searched the house of the person I found out today saw Hailey only once.

Wise - I have no idea about the X-box other than it is DD's, and it is in his room.

I guess you're right - but do you really think anyone is going to say "yes"? But I guess then if you are hooked up that yes would read either truthful ro deceiption indicated.

Its just such an odd question to ask.

respectfully all even i cant keep up with everything being tossed at cz with respect to verifying whom said what/whom said what when

it must be the blonde in me lol :)

The XBox is in DD's room? Well, I guess he moved it that Sunday night before he left because in the affidavit it says that DD saw Hailey playing XBox in the living room at 9 PM Sunday night when he left to stay at his friends.

I really would like to know some of the games they would play on it. And if SA played with DD or Hailey and if he did how long would he play?

Yesterday. They said (paraphrasing) 'doesn't look like anyone has been under her in a long time.' Nothing that I know of was taken.

Those teachers, high school students, and towns people should get themselves out and search instead of flapping their gums. It sounds like CD is searching for a live child, and everyone else should just be searching in case of foul play. If SA did something, then obviously it was intended to look like an abduction while walking, and she might be found lying off the side of some country road. Not really criticizing, but I never understand why family members bother to go on Nancy Grace. Probably 99% of the people who live in texas don't even watch the show. All it does it just create a bunch of gossip and does nothing to really physically search for the missing. Cristi Cornwell's brother is the one who found her, and a few other missing in West Texas had family searching. Those who tell family not to search should be the ones to shut up, and the people in the area should get busy. Get a bunch of people on horses, jeeps, etc. The police can not do it all plus investigate the crime.

The thing I don't understand about this is that tonight we were told that BD denied that SA had ever threatened BD or Hailey.

If these threats are in the original incident report from February, and SA admitted to them during his recent questioning, then BD, it seems to me, is lying when she says that there were never any threats made.

Am I missing something?

Nope ...missing nothing

Apparantly Billie's memory is vague...like when you dont want to remember something really bad...
Billie needs to re read the affidavit to maybe spark her memory....but more likely Billie remembers perfectly but didn't want to tell czgtx... she needs her too badly

But what else bothers me was Billie's statement that LE was called about something else....

Something else happened also??????

I am heartbroken to hear this and yet having a child so close to HD's age, I know you are telling the truth about this. It just had not entered my mind until you just posted it. Kids are mean and they repeat what they hear at home. DD doesn't deserve this. Oh the horrible things they must be saying about his dad, mom, sister, and SA.

I have a friend who relapsed on drugs many years ago and her daughter's senior year was torture. Kids would make jokes to her about her mom. She said she would laugh along with them but was dying inside.

Their lives have been destroyed and until Hailey is found, I don't know how you could do anything but remain in limbo.
