One thing that could have made him leave..... a phone call or text. That just occurred to me.
However, if SA has a habit of bad attendance, quitting jobs, walking out, etc. I don't think we can read much into this action at all.

BD admitted to taking antbiotics and pain meds for a toothache, we don't know if she is still taking these, as for the Ativan, BD also admitted to being prescribed this medication after Hailey went missing.

The affidavit is the sworn testimony of the LE officer, it is not the sworn statement of BD, nor is it evidence.

I do not believe those medications were prescribed ethically by a dentist for a toothache.

On that thought, I am wondering why someone who knows something has not come forward to try and get the 15K reward. I don't think SA's band of homies feel any sort of allegiance to him when it comes to that kind of money. Living in a tiny town, life would be good with 15K. And, as a side note, I can't see SA keeping his "success" a secret. More than ONE person HAS to know.

Appreciate any thoughts on that from the experienced sleuthers.

I believe that reward money hinges on finding Hailey, so unless they had credible information that would lead to her or her body... not eligible to collect a reward.

The BTK killer murdered many people in Wichita, KS for years and nobody knew it, not even his wife of many years. IF SA killed Hailey, I don't think he would go around bragging to his friends about it, KWIM??

I heard her say that she looked in on Hailey, but did'nt go in and touch her to ease her mind, not that she looked in to ease her mind. Sounds to me like in her mind, she had no cause to worry, so she looked in, thought she saw her sleeping, and went to work. IF she had suspicions that SA did something, don't you think she would have made sure Hailey was alright, and not just left without checking to be sure?!
And if she wanted to lie about that why not take it all the way and say she did touch her and knew she was okay? Or just say that she didn't look in on her at all. She didn't... she said she couldn't be certain it was Hailey because she didn't touch her to ease her mind.
Why tell half a lie when a whole one would be better?

I agree with your interpretation of what BD said about not touching HD to ease her mind, rather than she looked in there to ease her mind.

Are we to assume though that HD was now sleeping with her door closed? Because according to her grandmother, you could see into her room from the bathroom and HD complained that SA would look in there at night while she was in bed. BD would easily have been able to look into her room many times while getting ready for work if that is the case...especially since she would have had the bathroom light on.

That still befuddles me..:waitasec:..if he's thirsty, why not go to the store?..if he was trying to create an alibi, why not go in and pretend to get sick or something? ..but what in the world does going in, grabbing a soda and turning around walking back out in front of people, but speaking to no one do for SA?..what was he trying to accomplish? Was his original intention to go into work as an alibi..and then he was too freaked to stay? IDK..but that is troubling to me no matter how I look at it!

I am totally lost on this one....totally and frustrated. I believe the mother.....I just have to....so fence sitter I am.
Hopefully more info will come out and hopefully this precious girl named Hailey will be found.

Why didn't Hailey pick up that phone and make a few seconds call to her mom to say she was going to her dad's and to MB's and wouldn't be home that night?

And why, knowing that Hailey had the cell right there with her, didn't Billie find it odd that her daughter hadn't given her a quick ring to let her know she'd be gone for the night?

And if that was the relationship between mother and daughter, that Hailey came and went as she pleased, and didn't bother to tell her mother, then why in the world would Hailey even bother to mention to her mom's bf where she was going?

I don't see that as all that odd - some workplaces frown on personal calls, especially to the work number (mom's cell was with Hailey).

I think Billie did not say she touched Hailey or was positive she saw her partly because she didn't and also in case it was later determined she could not have been there on Monday night. I don't think she went in there at all.

but witnesses say that he got the soda, turned around and left. and I don't know of any pillhead (not saying he is one, just sayin ) that would EVER leave their stash at work..no way..That's JMO tho...I've turned this over and over in my mind and for me can't come up with anything that makes sense..

But BD didn't seem to worried about printing out 258 pages of "reading material" at work - so I don't really think a quick phone call from her child would have mattered.

Plus BD said she was a secretary - they usually answer the phone anyway. Plus BD called DD from work on Tues. to get him to text MB for Hailey to come home.

The videos were from several years ago (without having them to reference now I cannot be 100% certain ... but I know when I was watching them I remember counting back the years and determining that he was 19 or 20 in most of them). That would mean his cousin was only 12 or 13 ? I don't think so? ? ?

No, IIRC the oldest ones were dated 2 years ago. Which is within the timeframe of SA being with BD.

I am just wondering what, other than the report (LE said and BD denies) that they went to an APM and withdrew 140.00 to buy drugs do we know they use drugs. What else has been reported about drug use? That is the only reference to drug use I have seen, but I know I could have missed it since I have not read every thread. tia

Noone asked Billie if SA uses drugs in her presence or did he used the drugs she bought.

If to LE she admitted buying illegal drugs and she didnt take them SA did and she only took her pain meds for her tooth and Ativan maybe she is correct...and since she volunteered that information to LE and they were using her ATM Cash .... LE reported it was for both of them

They don't use cadaver dogs inside a house. If a murder had taken place in the house, there would be blood unless it was a soft kill like choking or smothering.

I see what you mean.

What strikes me different about SA though is that he's not trying to hide his fascination with violence and murder. He's making videos, posting on a public website that he's thought about murdering someone, telling people he chainsaws deer.. I think most serial killers hide their "dark side" at all costs. SA seems to like showing his. If he did kill Hailey, perhaps he would brag to a confidant(s) who shares his interests, he seems to like attention. We can only hope. (If he is guilty of killing Hailey, I think maybe he never intended to be a serial killer, just a one time kill for thrill and notoriety). Just speculating..

In the affidavit it states that BD voluntarily admitted that the illegal narcotics were for both BD and SA.

I think A LOT of parents would be surprised to see what teens (especially boys) are doing. I'm a "cool" mom ... and by all accounts probably the youngest of all my DD's friends mothers. I'm also very involved with a teen outreach program which I became involved in as a direct result of "doing it all" as a teenager (if it was "bad" ... I most likely did it) . I am NOT easily shocked at all. But sometimes ... these kids manage to surprise me ... and it's usually the ones whose parents would never ever guess that it was their kids.

All I can say is ........wow. If this isn't shocking to some of you, I am really at a loss for the low standard so many seem to be setting for todays youth.

I was no angel as a teen and I will be the first to admit it. But I have NEVER known anyone that took a chainsaw to the corpse of a deer for fun. Held up the heart of a deer for a vile photo shoot while making death threats. . Driving around behaving like a serial sniper...unacceptable. The whole mask thing...sorry, it's just really creepy.
