hi everyone ...just got on and caught up again..

ive got to tell you, if one of my sons was missing and a doctor was talking like that about them, I'd burst into tears or vomit...

That to me was extremely insensitive behaviour towards those parents. We dont get NG here so dont know where the parents were when the doc was explaining this, but from what I read they were also sitting there, is that correct?

NOT ON!

Also just thought I;d have my two cents worth re SA. I have been to the parking lot and saw the videos etc and yes I too think that in this day and age there are alot of weird things people are getting into because of the net..... I thought the photos in the masks were particularly creepy and the language and the disrepectful tone of the conversations were disguisting BUT I have a 17 year old stepdaughter and a 21 and 22 year old niece and nephew, and reading the facebook pages of some of their friends is an eyeopener. I think the younger generation have no boundaries on these social networks.(what happened to manners?)

To me SA comes across very immature and definitely not someone who should be an adult figure to teenagers.

If anything I think BD is trying to keep her youth or "in touch" with the younger ones by being with him and being into (I personally think she's into it because he's into it) all this killer stuff to keep him. He's keeping her young, but not a wise choice when you have the responsibility of bringing up teens.

The only thing that troubled me today was the neighbour who supposedly saw Hailey and who has since moved!!!! I am not liking that and am hoping the police are looking into it.

Do we know anymore about who he was or where he went, or if indeed this is true?

I'm in agreement with several people here. I think that the doctor that was on Nancy Grace last night was speaking way ahead of herself. No one actually knows what happened to Hailey as yet, and for the parents to have to listen to that is beyond heartbreaking. Hopefully they were unable to hear what was being said, because honesty I felt very badly for both of them.

Off topic, Okay Sleuthers, There is a 12year old missing in my city, New Orleans,. Problem is it was not in paper or media today. Nancy Grace talked about her today.She has been missing since yesterday when she took the garbage out. Her name is Mariah Sylvester and she is not posted on this site. I am going to go out to the home in am and get more info and help as it sucks that there has been little info publicized. Please look at her forum and I will post more info tomorrow. Forgive me for barging into this thread.

Just heard on the FOX8 morning news she has been found alive. No word where she was. Medical reports not released.

I heard about this on the night news when she went missing and WVUE TV had it on their website.

They believe she went missing at 3:15. If they had seen her AFTER 3:15 I am sure they WOULD tell Billie, but a lot of people probably see no point in reporting sightings of her before the time the believe she went missing. If anyone saw her AFTER 3:15, I am sure they would tell Billie/Clint.

Regarding getting the prepaid phone call and text list from online (I did not know that you could just hop online and get a log from a prepaid phone)..... last night a very nice member here told me how to do just that. So, Billie and I proceeded to go to the site, where she registered when she first got the phone.

Phone number, user name, password, security code, secret question..... got them all right, but could not log on. Then we got a message to the effect of 'we will be happy to send a new password to you by text.' Does us no good since LE still has the phone.

Could LE have locked down that account? Maybe changed the password to ensure nobody could access/alter those records.

You are a great friend to Billie and I hope you will continue to support her and keep us informed.

It was Jean's Grand-Daughter???

How the heck did Jean's Grand-Daughter know Hailey was going to the Dollar Store anyway?

36:33 and 36:39 Billie says Jean saw her out the window and the granddaughter (whose name should be removed) may have spoken with her as well.

And Billie said she was headed TOWARD (as in "in the direction of") not TO the Dollar Store.

Just to play Devil's advocate here... if he really had nothing to do with Hailey disappearing, and had no idea she was/would be missing, he could have assumed he'd get away with the lie. I agree it would be stupid to lie if he knew the police would check it out, but if Hailey hadn't disappeared, they would not have checked. It could be argued that he had no reason to think anyone would check, as he didn't do anything to Hailey.

I honestly don't know what to make of BD..She claims she doesn't care what ppl think of her yet she's constantly trying to defend herself..She did it again tonight with the "comedy movies" vs the horror flicks..She may be getting a bad rap (deserved imho) but what's that compared to her child missing & possibly dead? Unless she fears her image=she's responsible for putting her child in harms way or worse that she's a possible accomplice I don't get her extreme concern.

I think she is afraid that if people can find something unsavory about her character, they will stop helping her look for her child.

Well all this play-fantasy stuff he does on the internet might seem bizarre, but it isn't all that unusual really. There are lots of adults that do that sort of thing, that is why we have star trek conventions and genre fan clubs where people dress up in rediculous outfits.

Yes, there are adults that dress in costumes, but this is only a portion of the visible concern in Hailey's disappearance. SA watched horror movies, participated in horror movie forums and participated in one for half a decade, purchased/traded/collected horror movie memorabilia, wore costumes from horror movies outside of fan club events/Trick-or-Treat, possibly read true crime stories downloaded from his girlfriend's employer's computer, and videotaped/photographed himself wearing such costumes. These behaviors are not disturbing in themselves. The problem lies that these behaviors occur together and appear to have taken up a noticeable amount of time in his life. This COULD mean that he had an obsession with violent movies. Interestingly, SA stated in his comments on the Michael Myer’s forum that he did have an obsession with the movie, Halloween.

One needs to consider these questions: IF SA had an obsession with horror movie violence, were his actions (collecting and dressing up in such costume/video taping himself and etc...) compulsions? This means: Did he need to participate in these behaviors to reduce anxiety caused by his obsession? If so, is this related to Hailey’s disappearance?

YES. He lied about having quit his job... to his GF. He did not intend for her to check (she was too passive to do so) and had no reason to think anyone else would even KNOW what he had told her, as he had no reason to think Hailey would disappear and they'd become the focus of media and police attention. Then Hailey vanishes, and he's up a creek, so he admits to having been fired so Billie won't be mad at him for quitting a job in this economy, and keeps changing his story to try to keep up with what is being revealed.

The kids didn't have school Monday...It now Tuesday and I will be going around all day thinking it Monday.

During the holidays I kept thinking Christmas Eve was Thursday. Which had everyone confused. J/S


But on the other hand if my child was missing I think I would sit down and write it down to see if that help rather than try to guess in my head. (and maybe she did) hmmm it she any hand in Hailey disappearance I would think that she would had the day plan to a "T" . JMO

The longer she stays on his good side she can keep lines of connubication open with him..which can be quite a straegy..in hoping eventually he will slip up or feel bad and admit to something...this could also be why she seems to be more worried about SA than HD to some

Lordy just catching up had something things to do this weekend and my 12 yr old daughter had games and practice... I am waiting till 3 to watch nancy for some reason it didnt come on at 1..from what I have read though..seems like a very intresting one. I still leav towards Billie not being DIRECTLY involved however she is still responsible for who she chooses to have around her kids.

Poor Clint he breaks my heart .. I admire his strength to get out there and look for Hailey and do whatever he can.

I do want to ask a question though where is the dollar store in regards to the motel?

I think HLN has change the time slots. With NG doing the missing in 50 days there is now 2 hours of NG. Yes 2 hours of Nancy. But it all good because she will be getting the missings on for a full hour.

She did Lindsey Baum last night. There was few things that I didn't know about the Lindsey's case .

when nancy g was asking bd about the supposed neighbor? and I say supposed as le has not been able to verify anything with this supposed neighbor as far as i know eh?

BD is not always passive. IMO, her demeanor was aggressive and not passive towards Clint's grieving mother on the Nancy G. show. BD was able to interject a comment in a hateful tone to quickly protect her own image.

Based on everything we've read/watched/heard about SA, I believe he IS obsessed with horror & with role-playing characters of horror movies. I hadn't thought about a possible obsessive-compulsive aspect of it until you pointed it out.

Many people enjoy watching horror movies as a form of entertainment. But I think it's more than a form of entertainment for SA. I think he wanted/wants to BE a horror film character, hence the expensive masks & all the role-playing. For HD's sake, I hope I'm wrong, but I think he may have reached a point in his obsession/possible compulsion when dressing up/play acting didn't give him the sense of satisfaction & release he had previously experienced and he became increasingly frustrated, seeking an outlet for his growing tension/anxiety. I fear he may have taken it to the next level. I hope not.

I am guessing Since Nancy or her staff spoke to this hair fixing grandma, that there was nothing for her to say about the conversation she had with the lady to put on air and add to her storyline. Interesting Nancy herself would not talk about what the lady said.

But there`s also another lady, J*** B**** (ph), a neighbor of ours, whose grandchildren grew up with our kids. She says she saw her Monday, she said she told the FBI that twice. She saw her Monday between 10:30 and 12:00. She knows it was Monday because she doesn`t do hair on Sunday. She knows it was that day. She knows Hailey. And I believe <minor-child> spoke with her also, but police aren`t telling me that.
