I would say Shawn is responsible, 100 percent if what was written to get the search warrant from the judge was true, that he lied about getting fired at work. But I believe LE mislead the judge with the reason they wanted the warrant and I don't know if they are misleading on that too.

Do you remember what Sparky said? To look at the affidavits and warrants as a whole and not nit-pick at details? I think that was a clue. And I think it meant they are looking primarily at SA here. MOO

That does it. I've erased a hole in my notes clean through to the table.

I have found that disappearing ink works quite well in this case......:innocent:

From the transcript I can't understand if it's Jean the hairdresser or her grandchild.

Gosh, I hope she doesnt have to call Straight Talk. Their customer service can be so frustrating! (especially when you get one you can barely understand!)

I think all of their call centers are out sourced to other countries. If I get frustrated enough I tell them to put someone on the phone that I can actually understand. I have dealt with prepaid service for my Mom and Uncle and sometimes it has taken me a week of calls to get something cleared up.

That is something that we talked about. Although who knows at this point if LE has told the carrier not to release it (why, I dont know.... but Lord knows that I feel like that about a lot of things going on). Also, it would take at least nearly 2 weeks. Thats how long it took LE to get the records, and I'm sure they arent going to rush them out to Billie any faster than that.

My whole point is, she shouldnt have to beg for that info. LE should (IMO anyway) realize that as Hailey's mom, she might just have some insight on some of the numbers if she saw them.

Guess that is what we will have to try next anyway, thanks.

Be persistent and good luck!

Comments I've seen on her ms and fb didn't suggest her not liking school. She had good grades,a cheerleader, played softball, schoolband and friends.Where is that coming from? You don't leave home because of school, that's crazy.

Her MS did list a few friends (not in the friend list, but where she had actually typed it out down on the right hand side). but she also named two girls who she called "enemies".

DD is Hailey's brothers initials. HTH

Yes, I know that... :) But[ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6024482&postcount=28"] Wise Old Owl[/ame] had just also talked about if "DD" went missing.

I assumed the salon was a home-based business -- like in the basement. If that is the case, she could certainly be cutting hair on Monday's.

And it was just before NYR's Eve. Plenty of women want to get their hair colored or permed just before a big party week.

CZGTZ: Did Jean tell you that SHE seen Hailey that Monday?

The Nancy Grace Transcript indicates verbatim that it was Jean's Grandaugther that seen Hailey.

Would you be so kind as to clarify?

No, I didn't know that about Sparky, but that search warrant affidavit was terrible if what Billie says is true. Might very well end up getting anything found from it thrown out if there is a trial. A defense att. will be looking at the details.

I think LE needs to bring the cadaver dogs to search the Big Spring landfill. I live 2 blocks away from where the affadavits say that Shawn's mom and stepdad live, and I know for a fact that the dumpster guy comes on Monday's and Tuesday's in this neighborhood. I hope that she is alive, but I think that they should check there.

First time poster, long time lurker though. This case pulls at my heart strings. I'm not a local but live about 60 miles from Colorado City. About the time I think I have this figured out "new info" blows my theory out of the water and back to square one.

I truly think Lake Colorado City needs to be professionally searched. I've heard someone walked the shoreline, but the heavy brush and treelines should be more indepth searched. If I remember right the road to the lake is off I20 between Colorado City and Big Spring.

Also I swear I remember early on in this case where one of the local tv stations interviewed the next door neighbor who saw Hailey on the phone in the backyard on the 27th and the person kept his back to the camera the whole interview. Is that the missing neighbor and why LE says they can't verify the sighting?

Waving hello to everyone and most important praying that Hailey is home soon!

It may be, I missed part of the show and didn't know if it was specified..Wonder if any of the locals know whether they were open on Monday or not? Sorry if this has already been discussed..real life called me away this afternoon..

The last time I checked the name of this board was WEBSLEUTHS. And I think we are here to sleuth? No?

Yes, we are here to sleuth and hopefully find the answer to where Hailey is and what happened to her. Thank you for pointing this out teh! This is exactly the reason that it is recommended that people close to the case post on the "support" thread, not the "discussion" thread. That way they are not unduly upset.

I know that it must be hard for Billie's friends to understand what we do here, and to see people point out the inconsistencies in Billie's story. I know it would be hard for me.

I know that I believe LE over just about anyone. And LE had filed affadavits that prove that Billie has NOT told the truth about her drug use. She admitted to LE that she took money out of an ATM to buy "illegal narcotics" for both her and SA. Then, she turned around and lied about using drugs on Nancy Grace. I am paraphrasing here, but she said something to the effect that drugs were not a part of her life. That is one of the things that I can't overlook. If a person is untruthful about small things, they will be untruthful about big things. Plus, she is so worried about what people think about her reputation, she seems to mention it way too much for someone whose daughter is missing. If my daughter were missing, I wouldn't give a rat's behind what anyone thought about me or give a carp about my reputation, those things would be the last thing on my mind. I would also NOT be untruthful to LE. I would tell them everything, no matter how unflattering it might be to me.

Last and not least, I would cut off any and all communication with the person LE has named a suspect or "person of interest." In fact, it would be a cold day in H3ll before I had any contact with that person at all.

I know that there are folks that don't agree with me about Billie. I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I just don't trust a word that she says. I am sorry if this sounds harsh, I don't mean it to be that way.

As for "the story isn't changing, this is information finally coming out." I respectfully disagree. The story has changed. Billie hasn't been truthful to LE or to the very people she wants to help her find her child, the public.

Hailey needs to be found, bottom line. Hailey is the utmost concern to all of us.

However, like it or not, Billie's inconsistencies are NOT helping bring Hailey home. And someone needs to make her aware of this.

One other thought, if it is true that Clint has cut off communication with Billie, that speaks volumes to me. That tells me he doesn't believe in her anymore, and quite possibly holds her somewhat responsible to what has happened to Hailey. I feel so terrible for Clint. He seems totally destroyed. I'm sure Billie is destroyed too, but in my eyes, Clint is NOT to blame for what has befallen his daughter. He hasn't given inconsistent statements to LE or tried to mislead others about what has happened.

This is all in MOO, IMO, JMO, and all other disclaimers.

Also I'd like to ask CZGTZ if the school took care of the situation with the teacher and kids comments at school? My heart breaks for DD having to go through that and I do hope someone is running interference for him.

I can say if it were me, I'd have known immediately every single call or text that was sent to and from that phone and would have already been in contact with every single number that was listed on that phone, not 2-1/2 weeks later. I would have thought Billie Dunn would have done the same thing. It's things just like this that won't let me think of Billie Dunn in a positive light. I think she has done nothing short of derail this investigation by trying to protect her boyfriend.
