OMG. It was Jean that saw Hailey, not her granddaughter. I did not hear Billie say it was the granddaughter........ I heard her say that her kids played with the granddaughter.

When I posted this info yesterday, I did not get it from Billie - it came from Jean.

I am going to have to watch the show again. But regardless of what was said, and maybe she did misspeak..... JEAN was the one who saw Hailey 2x Monday morning.

I don't think Billie had a thing to do with this and I don't think she has derailed the investigation by trying to protect her boyfriend.

I think what we are seeing is someone coming to grips with bringing a creep into her house and exposing her daughter to him.

I can only hope that I'm wrong and you are right Dr. Fessel and I'm sure many others will agree with this.

For Hailey's sake, I hope her mother is not trying to protect her boyfriend and that Hailey is her first and only priority at this point.

That is something that we talked about. Although who knows at this point if LE has told the carrier not to release it (why, I dont know.... but Lord knows that I feel like that about a lot of things going on). Also, it would take at least nearly 2 weeks. Thats how long it took LE to get the records, and I'm sure they arent going to rush them out to Billie any faster than that.

My whole point is, she shouldnt have to beg for that info. LE should (IMO anyway) realize that as Hailey's mom, she might just have some insight on some of the numbers if she saw them.

Guess that is what we will have to try next anyway, thanks.

BBM - Whilst I agree that she shouldn't have to beg for that info, she was the holder of that info for some time before LE took the phone. She is probably regretting not doing those rudimentary things earlier so I won't beat up on her any further. (I'll admit to some frustration over her actions/inaction though).

It took 2 weeks for LE because (we are only 3 weeks in now), they had to obtain the phone, show cause, obtain a warrant, then apply for info......they were waiting on detailed info (pings etc).
You will just be asking for basic "billing" info. Numbers called and numbers who called.

Its all so disingeneous. Why put in the unnecessary information? Because things aren't confusing enough already. Why all the extra info hammering home how well known, akin to the Pope in supposed infallibility (per CZ's post at the end of the last thread), this woman is, when it was really some lady's grandkid?

On a related note:
I thought there was a forum for support for families to read if they wanted to without having to deal with & read the sleuthing. I don't think its fair to the very hardworking posters who have to pick things and people's words apart to be acussed of raking people across the coals. I don't have an agenda - I don't know Billie from adam, but when someone goes on national TV with glaring inconsistencies and an ever changing story and excuses... well, it makes me people question them. That is what this forum is for.

I stopped following the Zahra Baker case, but if it wasn't for people picking a part the step mother's affect, looks, inconsistencies etc etc., WS wouldn't have found out how far into that imvu website she was, and how twisted she really was. I'm sure if EB had any friends, they wouldn't have liked reading the stuff the fabulous, hardworking WSers found.

It is true that some topics have been talked about several times. I would say this is because new people are following the case and aren't going to go back and read the first 26 threads. It is also because the stories keep changing and the printed information from MSM and various websites (I hate the word "facts" and all the presumed objectivity that goes along with it) and transcripts need to be be dragged to the fore again and again.

Those of us who are scrutinizing the mom and questioning her stories don't want Hailey to be found any less than those who are "on the fence" (or on the other side of it!). We don't want the mom to be involved. We, just like everyone else, want Hailey to be found.

My best friend owns a high salon...I'm sure some are open on Mondays, but imo it's pretty rare, unless it's like a Great Cuts or something in the mall. He's told me before that it's just pretty standard in the industry..Monday's are not money making days and most usually take Sunday and Monday as their weekend...fwiw :crazy:..

The lady that has the salon is retired and still does some clients from a little shop right behind her house. Another good friend of mine owns a beauty shop here and she is open on Mondays...it does happen.

Dr Fessel, It's not often that I disagree with you, but...I see someone that I believe knows she is really, really close to being exposed. Exposed for what exactly, I'm not sure..That's what I need to know before I can cut her any slack, because I don't believe a word of it. I honestly think she is hiding something and she is hiding from the fact that Shawn did something to her daughter and that means her daughter is dead. I don't think she is allowing that into her consciousness.

I think she is hiding from the horror of it and that is why the inconsistencies.

What new info? The only new update I can think of doing is putting in LE's confirmation via Billie on NG tonight that nobody saw Hailey on that Monday.

Now, that I know you are the right person, If you don't mind I am going to look back at your posts, so I don't keep cluttering up this thread with questions. Once, I know for sure that I have the last one you updated, I may have a question about the text sent from BD's phone to MB. SA was pinging from the Big Spring area during the same time the text was sent, but was BD's phone pinging from the Colorado City area?

Absolutely! I believe Billie was blindsided by SA. Men like these are very convincing and if you are in love with them, it's hard to believe otherwise. So I think in the beginning Billie just went by what SA told her. Billie needs to go back and do her own time line (like another poster stated) and go back with what she knows is the truth and what can be validated or substantiated by LE, not by SA. When Billie goes on NG, and I would recommend not going on NG unless she gets ALL her ducks in a row. Having another person represent the family would probably be a good idea.

Also I'd like to ask CZGTZ if the school took care of the situation with the teacher and kids comments at school? My heart breaks for DD having to go through that and I do hope someone is running interference for him.

School was released early Friday (when this occurred) and by the time my daughter told me about it all of the offices were closed, and they remained closed through today. I will be speaking with the principal and the superintendent if I can get ahold of him in the morning. I will also be filing a complaint.

Actually they can say and do anything they want to find the suspects and bring them to justice,but in sworn affidavits,they won't.When you're dealing with people lieing and having inconsistencies as LE has said,you have to do what you have to do to find the truth.Time has been of the essence and telling one story,then another has not helped in finding a missing child.

BBM-- It saddens me to say...But LE certainly DOES lie and/or misrepresent material facts to get a warrant. Happens in courtrooms everyday-- a judge is rendering decisions that evidence was obtained through an invalid search warrant. It really stinks when the defendant walks because LE risked it to get a search warrant. But to be fair...sometimes LE feels they need to "fudge" a little to get the warrant so they can solve a case or put the perp behind bars!


Feel free to Google "lying to get search warrant" and for fun type in Texas or even your own state and see what comes up. FYI...Those are just the very few that make the news.

Ok- question- with some of these new phones can a person, before going to bed, program their phone to send a text at a certain time the next day? You know like you can program you coffee maker to have your morning jo ready when you get up?

Also, it has been asked "what did SA do when his phone stopped pinging in CC and started pinging at his mothers" Could he have driven to his momma's, given her the phone and asked her to make a couple calls using his phone. Meanwhile, he drives back and uses the family phone? If you remember, when SA's momma found out the police had her computer she marched herself directly to LE and demanded the computer back at which time it was seized and placed in to evidence. SA's momma knows something that makes her a little panicky.

Aaaand while several were sympathizing with CD's blood shot eyes and torn up look (reminds me of the scene in peter pan when Father trips on toys, falls all over the room and some toy or something barely hits their dog "nanna" and everyone runs to her and says Aawhhh! Poor Nanna!) Let us not forget the wonderful characters CD has for friends; his partaking in a little weed; he lives across the street and didn't notice anything different- but did defend the so called NYE party and said "there was no party"

Finally- the first bit that I got back from my friend was he detected deception from CD' Mom

Someone mentioned the micro-expression on SA's face during the interviews- I passed that along as well, but I might not have an answer until the weekend. I watched it several times and see what you mean. It's easier to have a base clip to have in order to see what their facial expressions are normally, so I compared them to the youtube clips. I'm not sure if it is excitement or the lip pressing that indicates deception. Normally an entire sentence or paragraph can be spoken before the expression is given, however SA gives it about every 3 or 4 words- but does not do that when he is getting high

Back to CD, I don't want to speak poorly of him- it just seems he gets a free pass while all the blame for poor decisions are aimed at BD. A book could be written about what parenting mistakes went on here in just the last 2 months and bad parenting is something that is handed down like a precious heirloom, but unlike the heirloom, no one wants to take responsibility. And I think the entire family dynamics need to be taken a look at. Everyone- aunts, uncles, friends, girlfriends and of course SA, grandmas and pas- no stone unturned.
