this is just insane!

sorry.. just have to say it...

LE is now trying to take the ball to the endzone from the 1 yardline fourth and long....

((my very own 13 year old son plays football...and this is how I am best visualizing the progression of this investigation))

MOO

Back from break, still on H-

Just recapping with all the soundbites...

So MB told Billie that she hadn't seen Hailey on the day she went missing but they have a person who saw Hailey, MB and an unknown boy that day?

  • #144
If the woman really saw the girls and a strange boy....someone is fibbing (this from me, not NG)

So either the lady who saw them is lying or MB is.. i don't think the neighbor has a reason to lie.. but MB might....

Per Marc Klass -

Nancy asks mom why police classified it as runaway in the beginning. mom says, the police told her because "no one saw her being abducted"

NG: Ugh...Marc Klass, this is breaking my heart. I mean did we get an AA did we get anything at all.

Marc Klass: "Well you see, this is the perfect fall back position for law enforcement; and it's really a 20th century fall back position. If they can say that it was a runaway, that absolves them from responsibility and puts the onus of recovery on the shoulders of the parent. It's irresponsible...it's, it's, it's not understanding the dangers that children live with in this country and it's shirking the responsibility...and as I said this has been mismanaged by law enforcement from the beginning!"

This is verbatim per my rewinding my DVR a million times! I had to pause it to make sure I quoted this right, as IMO, he hit the nail on the head - as usual!

Where on earth were MB's parents????

Does this case make anyone else think about the Elizabeth Olten case?

  • #149
I wonder if the BF's vehicle was searched?

Could bloodhounds be used to see if there is a scent for MB and hailey walking together at the place they may have been seen?

  • #151
Oh, my... this isn't looking good. WTH would a 13-y.o. be doing going to a motel???

Maybe had older friends that wanted to party. Beer, drugs, older cute boys there?
Might have went with friend to have fun, but were in over their heads.

Yes...as scary as it seems...it does. I have been trying to block that thought out of my mind for the last several days, and it keeps returning.

That's an awesome idea!!!

Dr. K-Amonia, but all cleaners leave something some DNA

NG-BF says he will take LD tomorrow...

Dr.? (lady)-this little girl may have made one bad decision

Caller Rosemary-God bless you, what about internet predators? cheerleader, popular, met someone on line?

Billie-middle school cheerleader, just in town

NG-police have taken phones. no computer at home. Billie-LE says they are looking at FB

MB says she did not expect H that night

If MB is a minor (which I'm guessing she is), don't go there - it's against TOS. Check the first post.

Billie said H had a 13-yr old BF a few weeks ago...

Father of H-asked by NG about their son, where he was
Dad-he spent night at friend's, came home later on Monday

It was reported that the polygraph was delayed due to prescription drugs.

I know, I was addressing what you said about the only drugs that would alter polygraph results, and I know there are others that do. Sleeping pills, for instance.
I edited my post above with some info I found quickly, and didn't go through everything my search came up with, but antihypertensive drugs can affect it, according to this information.
Anything which would change a person's blood pressure or heart rate could affect the test.

Son asked his dad if he had seen H, everyone realized she was missing...

NG asking why they called her a runaway, Dad says they stressed she was not, NG saying what a critical error on LE's part that was-

This is over

brother was at a sleepover..... didn't come home until later... which means most likely that the boyfriend told him the same story..

fwiw

I am starting to think that something stinks with the friends story now.
Sadly, I agree. When the mom was asking on NG what she learned from the friend, the mom answers with "that is what MB told me". She didn't sound like she believed MB's story.
