I fixed my post, sorry.

There are a lot of good things in those posts so I didn't remove them. It's just the "I'm leaving this thread" :dramaqueen: parts that are the problem.

Thank you!

...with this dysfunctional group I believe Hailey sleeping on the couch was just another thing - AND, come to think of it - would Hailey have been sleeping on the couch while SA wandered around at night on BD's phone?

Sounds like she wasn't afraid of him anymore? Before, she was afraid he would come INTO HER ROOM... Now she is sleeping outside her room where he has every right to be. I suggested before that if I was concerned about someone standing in my doorway watching me sleep, I'd sleep with the door closed. I certainly would not put myself in a MORE vulnerable position... :twocents:

I would never hope or advocate a 12 year old running away from home. I would think that would put them in a vulnerable position. I would advocate them using the resources at school , utilizing LE, or speaking to a trusted adult.

But she is a kid. After what happened in February, she probably doesn't trust LE, resources at school should have approached her when she was changing schools so often, and there just may not BE any "trusted adults" in her life. Everyone failed her. So sad.

I'm going to put this news article out here and it speaks of landfill searches but at the same time holds out hope she still maybe a runaway. Another little comment from the story is posted below. I'm not sure about the reporting.

"Kampfer last week identified Adkins as one of several people of interest in the case and said Tuesday that the investigation has widened to include "close and former associates of Adkins." No one has been arrested."

Had to grab this:

In one of the NG interviews with Billie - she clearly stated that xbox was in DD room. I know I know...... it has been said all along that the xbox was in the living room.... but I Heard(!) Billie state in was in is her sons room. So which was it?

it was on last night's nancy grace... I just watched it...

she said DD saw Hailey in his bedroom at 9pm when he left and she was playing the xbox ((BD than says SHE "thinks" he had left earlier))

She told NG the last time she, BD, saw Hailey that night was between 10-11pm in her room and she was in the bed watching tv.

fwiw...

"sigh", I'm probably going to be pulling away from this case because I have had to question my interest in the parents backgrounds following last nights announcement.

The clues to finding Hailey will lay in the preceding hours or days, or in the timeline of events.

LE is being tight lipped except to say SA is a suspect, followed by there are lots of other suspects too.

BD appears in the media to ask for our help in finding Hailey, but her deceit makes her every statement questionable.
In order to separate the fact from the fiction we must dissect each statement for it's truthfullness, and digging into private life is the only way to ascertain this.

We are faced with 3 options.
Run away --- everyone agrees that this is unlikely, and BD came seeking help to point away from this scenario. (subsequent sleuthing shows that BD lied about home situation, drugs, violence and a questionable boyfriend, so is this possibility still on the table?)

Abducted by someone other than SA--- This is the scenario favored by BD, it doesn't reflect on her parenting, it allows for her boyfriend to be cleared, and it's the rationale behind many of her lies .....look over here ------> points finger away from SA.

Killed --- Apart from being unbearable to imagine for a parent, it is also a scenario that would point towards the last person(s) to see her, which is of course SA. Without sleuthing BD and SA we would have accepted that SA was the distraught, doting step parent, without a speck on his character and a thriving business selling and trading horror masks.

Since the only source of information is BD and BD has shown that she is a liar, then we are faced with no real insight into her last days at home. Mr Klaas has asked us to concentrate on finding Hailey. Admirable if you have reliable 'information' with which to begin this search.

Maybe Mr Klaas could tell us where to begin and how (or IF) we can be of help.

Printing and placing posters is only useful if there is hope that she is still alive, BD's actions/reactions/inactions have led me to believe that Hailey was probably dead before she was reported as missing.

So without being able to question the actions of BD, with the only insiders simply repeating and defending BDs inconsistencies. I feel like I'm being 'directed' as to what I should post/ask/believe.

I'm so sorry Hailey, you deserved so much better. The adults (ALL of them) in your life let you down. If you are alive and well, congrats on escaping the nightmare, if you are not, then snuggle up closely to Jesus and whisper to searchers who are looking to find you.

Let me add this. There isn't just a matter of finding Hailey. And sadly she may not even be findable for a very long time if ever. In the meantime, the persons responsible for her disappearance needs to be brought to justice. Does anyone want the investigation to grind to a halt until a body is located?

Glad you quit lurking and started posting because you have some valid points, the one I can understand is the one BBM - Knowing what we know now, I can fully understand HD running away in a T-shirt, blue sweatpants and flip flops and not taking a thing with her. If I were HD I would have got the flock out of there as fast as I could and I hope and pray this is what she did.

IF IF IF she ran away, she might have packed some belongings over a period of time, and stashed them outside the house... it would LOOK as if she walked out with nothing...

great find P~man! If you notice the byline this is Associated Press and looks like Kamp's entire statement from yesterday...

interesting quote from him on the landfill:

"It's a sensitive part of the investigation," Kampfer said. "The cadaver dogs did hit on items at the landfill."

There have been reports, Billie Dunn said, that her daughter didn't like Adkins. She denied that. Hailey at first saw Adkins as someone who would keep her mother and father from reconciling, Billie Dunn said.

"You know I'm happier now," Billie Dunn said she told her daughter. "And over time she realized that."

Maybe Hailey just gave up trying to talk to her about how she felt about SA. :(

Many apologies for coming across as dramatic, that was not my intention.

I felt I needed to post my thoughts to Hailey, we get a little emotionally involved in these cases and sometimes that clouds our judgement on what may be perceived as TOS violations.

Again, I am sorry for appearing dramatic. I'm sure that LE has this one covered.:truce:

Do you think CPS is involved yet regarding DD?

The sulfuric acid. I'm wondering could it be possible that you dig a hole, put something in it and then pour the acid into the hole? Nope, I wouldn't think so as the acid would just disperse into the ground and soil around it (kinda like when you water plants). So, if a hole was dug, you would have to case it - like put a piece of pipe or something into the hole to seal off the sides and then you would have to put something at the bottom as well. SA had access to all these materials that would be needed.

well.... the searchers should be headed out this very moment. I wish them God Speed in finding Hailey.

I was very moved by your post, especially the part about getting away from the nightmare, and did not see any drama, but hey, what do I know.

Find Hailey!!
