I had envisioned a 2" diameter hoop, in a red enamel. That little thing can barely be called a hoop OR red.

NG reading from affidavit: Adkins later confirmed he did threaten both of them. The call was not made by him.

BD: If he had ever said he was going to kill Hailey, then he wouldn't be anywhere around.

Yeah...but it was fine that he threatened her life and Clints.

If those earrings they showed were the ones she had in, they don't just fall out easily, you have to unscrew the end off of them.

ETA....especially if she were trying to stretch the hole, they would have been tight. Hailey probably wouldn't have been switching them out if she was trying to stretch the hole.

The significance of the families' recollection of the facts of Hailey's last day before she went missing is vague and unbelievable. I would not place any importance on the earring. Wasting time on discussing the cell pings, work firing story or anything else is futile. The public search is the real hope. If they get enough people maybe some progress can be made as the stories do not add up and are probably inaccurate. Hopefully, the community will respond with a massive search effort.

I think what Nancy is trying to say to Billie is:

1) she believes the affidavit over Billie.

2) even if there was no threat to Hailey, there was to Billie. So why take him back? (in my words: Is it okay to have a killer in the house as long as it's not a child killer?)

thank you! No she didn't and the affidavit clearly states that it was SA who said he did. Why he coped to that ..who knows.

I understood that the uncle who took the poly was Hailey's maternal uncle, not Shawn's uncle (that supposedly saw him at his mother's in Big Spring on
12/27). Is this correct?

I never heard the name Hailey in any of those 911 calls. I'm not sure we have heard them all though. The LEO didn't seem too interested in even getting the relationship between SA and BD correct either. JMO

I mean, isn't it possible that Hailey DID just accidentally lose the hoop earring Christmas day? Maybe she didn't notice it, then forgot to mention it between then or the 26/27?

any when did the girlfriend/cd move? after hailey went missing? just curious. seems odd for someone to move if their child is missing...

Or she mentioned it to SA. Maybe asked him if he'd seen it. Then said she might've left it at her dad's.

I said earlier today that I believe SA set up the dad by telling LE HD said she was going to CD's house. I didn't know about the earring at the time, but now I'm even more inclined to believe it's true.
