In my experience, relationships like BD/SA's are rife with drug abuse. Dysfunctional, codependent, insane behavior, neglect of family and children, undependable, and erratic in all areas of their lives. It appears that both of them suffer from addiction. Just because she does not use "street drugs" does not mean she has no problem with drugs. I feel sorry for those poor children in that household.

OMG, I can't finish watching that video. It takes a lot for me to cry but this sure did.

CD loves his little girl and you can clearly see that. I cannot begin to imagine what nightmare he is going through right now, but you can see the pain in his eyes.

Towards the end of the call, the dispatcher tells Adkins he has a warrant for his arrest. Adkins confirms that he's aware. The Scurry County Sheriff's Office says this stems from a 2009 public intoxication arrest in Snyder.

IMHO - I don't think there's much there - just a guy drunk in public.

Do you have any ideas on to what might happen if someone suddenly went off of them? For example, if I go of my blood pressure pill, it will cause my blood pressure to sky rocket. Are there any effects like that with klonopin?

I have taken them in the past. It's actually dangerous to stop any benzo (like klonopin, valium, ativan, etc). It can cause seizures if you stop the pills after taking them consistently for a few weeks or more.
Not to mention the sheer amount of anxiety it causes. PLus many other problems.

BBM -- if there was, I think they would have hauled him in. If the can arrest CD on a couple gm's of weed, they certainly wouldn't let SA off the hook.

Around here, if it's not for something big. they are let go.

Frequently I hear "SO and So has a warrant out of *** county" Then dispatch contacts the county the warrant is out of 9 times out of 10 unless it's for something big, the county who issues the warrant says let em go, for little things they don't want to travel out of state, county etc.. to pick them up.

Or they could have just grown up in irresponsible, dysfunctional family and that is the norm.

I agree with you 100%, and if Billie has a problem with pain killers or anxiety meds, chances are she does not consider herself to be an addict because they were probably, at least initially, prescribed. Unfortunately, I've heard it many times.....

It is not like he raised her since she was a toddler or anything. I highly doubt that she loved him 'with all her heart.' HUGE RED FLAG ALERT.

I bet he has said stuff like this to the Rangers and the FBI too, which is why he remains the main suspect imo.

It definitely sounds creepy and weird. I agree that what you are saying is possible though, because I try to consider his immaturity when pondering the things he has said and done along the way....
