why does BD refuse to talk with KTXS if she wants to get Hailey's face out to the media.

If KTAB had obtained the affidavits first thru the FOIA would she be refusing to speak to them?

I have never seen an exact time given that BD got off from work. BUT it has been reported that THEY stopped at the ATM at 6;20, AFTER SA PICKED HER UP FROM WORK. So she would not have been home already at 4 pm. Right?

This case is crazy confusing.

I saw it stated SA picked BD up from work at 5:45pm Monday. I even questioned if she actually got off work at that time, or if that was the time he arrived to get her. I'm pretty sure it's in an affidavit. I'll go look and see.

And btw, this morning is the first I'm hearing of DD getting CD when he couldn't get in the house that Monday. Anyone know where that is coming from?

This is something that has bugged me. I've seen references to BD working 12 hour shifts, which, IMO, leaving at 6:20am to get to work would be a 7am-7pm shift. So does she normally work 3 days a week? 5 would be 60 hours a week, is that normal?

SA picking her up at 5:45pm IMO implies she left work early that day. An 8 hour shift for SA, even including lunch, IMO would be 6am-3pm, and I doubt SA hangs out for 4 hours or normally goes home then back to Snyder to pick her up. IMO, BD normally catches a ride with a co-worker.

So then I start wondering, if my assumptions are correct, what was the deal to make Monday so different? In light of BD realizing on Tuesday her daughter was missing, how is Monday not standing out to her and making her look at SA for more than 'a little bit?'

I remember it being discussed because I had responded that I knew someone that did that same job at a local hospital who worked 12 hour shifts. I have thought about this all night long and I just don't remember any kind of confirmation regarding Billies hours. I don't even remember too much discussion about it at all. Obviously with these threads moving as fast as they are I could very easily miss it..so I'm going to keep asking just in case someone comes along that does know, lol! It just seems to me that we have been 'assuming' that she didn't get off work until right before the ATM withdrawls...but do we know that? and what are we basing that on?.. :waitasec:..I swear this case is making me doubt my own sanity...:crazy:..or what little is left of it anyway...

To me it looked like BD had notes tonight and that getting the message to HD that she didn't have her phone to call 911. She wants HD to know she doesn't have her phone and that she realizes she might not be able to write down or memorize her new number so reminds HD of 911. I honestly believe BD has been worried that HD wouldn't understand her phone always going to voicemail. CZ told us early on she and BD were calling that number and checking to see if anyone was monitoring it in case HD called. I think after telling HD to call 911 BD simply got flustered in her comments and seemed confused towards the end and just hushed without saying the rest of what she probably had prepared to say. moo

I kept waiting for Billie to say something else... to tell Hailey she loved her and missed her and she just seemed to go blank. I was stunned! Can't for the life of me figure out why she wouldn't at least tell her she loves her. Unless she KNOWS that Hailey is out there somewhere hiding and she is angry with her. I would have thought MK would have nudged her a little.
Also can't understand why LE won't give her back her phone. They don't need to keep it this long, they've surely extracted all the data they need from it. Is it so they can monitor the calls? :maddening:

BD must have hers back, she mentioned that he texts her. Im pretty sure she does, no link, no proof, but she does.

Have searchers looked in old oil or water well heads? or check that they are still on? I would think someone has a list of every well in the county.

SA has a prepaid phone now?

I agree most hospitals are using 12 hour shifts, keeps cost down. What day did SA pick BD up?26th or 27th? same day they went to ATM?

Any info from who ever picked her up to go to work? Would be interesting to know what she thought of BD demeanor.

I want to say that I first heard about DD getting CD on Nancy Grace..but I could have sworn I read that in the affidavits as well...

eta-it does not state in the affidavits that DD went and got CD...I do know that it was said on NG, but can't for the life of me remember which night or by whom...

Wild hogs? lol. I've never heard of anyone being killed by one. Rattlesnakes wouldn't scare locals who could put on boots. Anyway, has it ever been said or confirmed if any calls came in to BD's cell phone that day she left it for the kids? Such a shame if none of the parents or "step" boyfriend & girlfriend of theirs never once called to check on Haylie. Her brother was gone, the doors and windows hardly ever locked, everyone else gone to work really early, and Haylie supposedly there alone all day. I wonder if there were any rules at all, like wait til one of us gets home from work to leave the house.

It is my opinion that Marc Klaas is not even considering BD's guilt or innocence. I believe he looks at BD as simply (and tragically) a mother whose daughter is missing. His main concern is Hailey and bringing Hailey home in any way possible. At this point in time, he is willing to give BD help, without judgement, for the sake of her daughter-- and this is all he cares about. He is willing to look beyond any possible dependancy or whatever that BD has for SA in order to return HD home to her family. Whomever is ultimately found responsible and whatever the outcome of this tragic case, I will admire Marc for being there for CD, BD and DD when few other people were and for getting the searches properly organized.

In the video where Klass Kids is educating the searchers, they cautioned the searchers strongly about the feral hogs and porcupines. They really didn't say much about snakes, which leads me to believe they're not as big of a threat this time of year.

We have the hogs out here where I live too. They can inflict some real damage. They were able to kill every single one of my parents' chickens by rooting way underneath the coop. They were BIG too! My hat is off to the people searching. I would be really scared, to be honest.

Oh my lord, you Texans and your snakes, spiders, and wild hogs that run in PACKS?! I'm going to stop complaining about my snow (third snow day in a week here, today... Kids are driving me nuts!) RIGHT NOW lol. You win!

Trying to keep up with all the threads, but I didn't help matters when I fell asleep last night watching NG in bed! At the beginning of the show, during the intro voice-over part, I saw a caption that said something like "Hailey's father: CPS investigating". Did NG ever discuss that, or was it reported elsewhere?

BD seemed quite coached last night, and the part where she gave HD the message to call 911 was... awkward. I am, however, back to thinking that she is incredibly naive, and in denial, rather than having anything to do with HDs disappearance directly.

The earring - I think it's a red herring. BD probably included that in HDs description because she'd been wearing them everyday, and assumed she still was. She likely didn't know that hd had taken them off at CDs.

The sighting by the hairdresser - sounds to me like a wrong day sighting?

Final question - do we yet have any info on what SA was up to on Tuesday? Info from anyone at all? What vehicle he had, was it the one that was searched, etc?

He's not a cop. I'm sure you didn't mean that literally, I'm just emphasizing it.

MK is not there to decide who did it, he's there to help and support Billie but primarily to find Hailey.
