OK...now I am confused again...

If DD was at home...when B called him...to call H to come home....and he called B back...and said H had not been there......and B goes home FIRST..to see if H is there......wait!!!!......isn't DD there at the house???...he JUST called her to tell her H wasn't at MB....Why would B come home...FIRST...to see if H was there...if DD WAS THERE...

But...maybe DD left right after that...to look elsewhere for her...

I believe we have a LOT of missing facts......and lapses of memories...
imo
....

me too!...and we shouldn't have them, especially from mom who claims total innocence..Here is what I remembered Billie saying on Nancy Grace...

snipped~
GRACE: And when you learned she had never come home, what did you do?

B. DUNN: I left work, stopped by the house first, to make sure she hadn`t got there, went by a couple of her friends` houses and went to the police station.

So...did she not bother taking the phone with her in case Hailey called? I thought she said she called a few friends as well, but I guess not...

IMOO that is why I think she was murdered while in her night clothes.
and did she had flip flops on? I doubt it.........barefoot......JMOO
No one in the house that night but SA,BD and poor Hailey.
BD/SA bought drugs........did they get high..........and doped up Hailey so BD/SA could have fun?
And everything back fired?????
BD goes to work for alibi.
SA goes to work, but gets frieghtened and runs back to BD's.
and so the story goes with all the pings.........JMOO
Was the sheet off Hailey's bed really the sheet she slept on, or a clean washed one???? JMOO

And where is her mattress? It appears to be a box spring on the floor. Did LE take it, or was it already gone when they got there?

Billie Dunn couldn't be happier about having her missing daughter's face on TV sets across the country. While Dunn appreciates all the attention Hailey is receiving, she's not happy with everything that is being said.
Hailey Dunn's disappearance from Colorado City has been featured on HLN's "Nancy Grace" four nights this week. Billie Dunn says some moments in the show have been difficult to watch and experience.

"It makes me mad. It frustrates me that ratings are more important to some people than my daughter being found," said Dunn.

omg... that is all I will say because anything else I have to say right now would get me banned for life from this community that I call home... this community that strives to help others..

Actually, I believe he was asked who LE should be looking at and he said "both of us". I read enough true crime to know that if MY daughter/stepdaughter disappeared, the police "should" first look at "both of" her parents before looking at outsiders. I think he was acknowledging this, and telling them that he "knows how this works".

thanks for clearing that up.....I must have mis quoted....(sometimes I can do that)..lol

NG will probably drop this case. She doesnt need another MD on her hands.

Bolded by me

I am sure that is what stalkers, jilted lovers (male and female) and those who have TRO taken out against them would like everyone to think.

Re: the premise that "where your mail is delivered is considered your legal residence"...

I'm having my mail sent to Buckingham Palace, effective tomorrow.

II can't wait to see how many phone calls flew back and forth from SA to BD that day, I bet money they were calling and texting all day long, I bet LE knows all of this as well as the ping info...Inquiring minds want to know...

I wonder what that Monday night was like for them, Billie and Shawn. Alone in the house without the kids.

DD was there...

He was at a friends house wasn't he? They said he had been staying at a friends house, IIRC.

That was Sunday night. He left around 9 and saw Hailey playing XBox when he left.

Shoot, Kampfer was quoted in dozens of news sources as saying that evidence related to Hailey had been found at the Abilene landfill. It's not just a NG thing. mo

Not just NG but this has been HORRIBLE reporting all around.

Well, I think their news "source" spoke before he should have. Not just the reporting... :banghead:

In summertime, at that age, my sister and I walked a mile to 7-11 several times a day to meet our friends and hang out or get some gum or a Slurpee.

And the swim club was another 3/4 mile past 7-11, to which we also walked.

I suspect with all that was going on, the many people there, and her shock from her daughter missing, she probably didn't count how much alcohol SA drank. Can we all really recall past events in vivid, accurate detail even under normal circumstances. Studies show that in a group of people, there are varying recollections of the same event and place, etc. It is obvious based on the type of statements made by LE to the press, it was intended to embellish the situation and put her in a bad light to the public. MOO.

Nice point. I remember in a class, long, long ago, the prof. put all of us in a circle; wrote a statement on a piece of paper and explained that he was going to whisper what he wrote to the first person and then that person was to whisper to the next and so on until it whispered around the entire circle. The last person was to say what he/she heard out loud and then compare it to what was written. Needless to say it was no where near what was written. In another instance, a class that is taught where my husband works on advanced communication; the instructor asks two questions- Where are you from and why are you here. He then instructs the class that before they write their answers to make certain they understand what is being asked of them and feel to ask any questions before responding. He gives a very brief explanation as what effective communication is and why it is important. He asks if everyone understands and if anyone has any questions and no one raises their hand. So he says to go ahead and write their answers. Some finish in a matter of a few minutes and some go on for several minutes and almost fill an entire page. The answers range from I am from thus and such agency or I come from so and city and state. I am here because my agency sent me or I am here for a long drawn out dreams and goals answer. He reads the varying ones out loud and then ask the class which answer is correct. A debate always erupts about which is correct and it inevitably leads to someone saying "well I assumed he was asking us this..." Wherein he stops them and asks "Why did you assume and not take the opportunity to clarify and ask questions when I gave you the opportunity." Hence driving home the point of the exercise.

Nothing sinister about HD sleeping on the couch. I agree. But LE took her sheets to check for evidence ... guess they should have taken the couch too!
*mama always said if ya don't have anything nice to say ... not blaming anyone specifically but this was a big oops IMO

She'd been sleeping in her bed the last week or so. BILLIE's story is that the sheets were taken for the bloodhounds and never returned. That may be what she was told.

Jan 19

BILLIE DUNN: No. Like I said, in the beginning, three years ago, she was very upset her dad and I broke up, but I don`t think Hailey feared Sean in the least. And she wouldn`t have been afraid to come to me. She knows that she was number one, her and DD are number one. And I don`t think she would have been afraid to come to me. And she didn`t sleep in her room until about a week ago. She slept in the living room on the couch. I think Clint`s mom is just upset. She wants someone to blame also, and that`s understandable. But I really believe Hailey would have come to me or her father. And I don`t think she was afraid of Shawn.

Just using this portion to bounce off Mr Bean.

Interestingly, BD uses the past tense when speaking of Hailey. At first I figured that her unique way of speaking may have used past tense because she was talking of the past, except that once her son is included in the sentence, she switches to present tense.

BD either knows for sure, or in her heart that Hailey is not coming home safely.
It goes a little way toward explaining why her appeals to Hailey appeared forced or uncomfortable.

All just observations and opinions.

I haven't heard anything about DD after he had to climb in the window @ 4pm and met up with SA..and obviously his 'deer in the headlight' look scared him enough to go get CD...so after all that he went on in and spent a cozy evening with SA and his mom? That is news to me...

There is that old saying, "If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen."

BD should not have made that ratings remark. If it werent for the show she probably never would have been connected to MK.
This is putting him in the middle of her and NG. jmo
