I know I've read on here numerous times that she was driven home by a co-worker and then to hear her say sister-in-law the other night I was surprised.

However, where did the co-worker version come from? From her mouth in the media or someone else's?

I am almost positive that the co-worker and the sister in law are one in the same..{that yes..her SIL also works at Snyder Hospital}

I can't imagine that a girl whose mother didn't seem to give an eff where she was, and who didn't call to check up on where her daughter was, would have to hide outfits and sneak out of the house.

Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Hi Emeralgem..Long time no see.. Sorry to hear you've been out due to surgery.. Hope that everything went well and that you're quickly on the mend:)..

Here's a few links that give ya some of the basics and major players and components in this terribly sad and disturbing case..AND DD is Haileys older brother{16 yrsold} and yes he has been removed and is in the Uncles care/custody..Spokesman Pete Kampfer{a city official in CCity}made the statement that removing a sibling from the home is "common practice" in these cases{many of us disagree}..

But I'll warn you now.. once you get into delving into mom's BF{Prime suspect and focus} Shawn Adkins..well..its disturbing to say the least what their so called "hobbies" are..
Here's some links that will atleast begin to get you up to speed

Em-Here's a Timeline of sorts giving you the basics

Here's a detailed article describing the family and the case

The court affidavits released paint a disturbing picture
http://www.ktxs.com/news/26459455/detail.html

That'll get you started and I'm sure some others may have some specific links that they can suggest and link you to..and I'll add to this if I come across some other items of interest or info that will help to catch you up..

Again Glad to see ya back :seeya:

Smooth Operator thank you so very much for the well wishes and thank you so very much for all the links you have provided me to help me..

At first, I was really disturbed about Billie failing the poly. After a lot of research, though, I think she felt guilty about her role in bringing Shawn into the house. If you doubt yourself, LDs pick up on that.

"Did you have any part in the disappearance of Hailey?"
(In her mind): Hailey might have run away because she hated Shawn and I didn't listen to her enough about him
OR
I brought Shawn in the house and he did something to her; it's my fault!

Poly failed.

That's rough.

Also, if you plan to deceive about anything, you can fail any question on the poly. Any drug questions or whereabouts questions that Billie might have been worried about due to addiction could make her fail the whole thing.

Is she still doubts herself or wants to hide anything about anything (but she's innocent), she'll fail again, too.

OOOOhhh! So they ask her if there are any questions she is afraid they might ask. She gets nervous and flunks that question, and probably every one thereafter as she frets over what questions they MIGHT ask her that she would be afraid of...

Because a girl sneaky enough to say she is staying over at the home of a friend so she can go to a party with boys wouldn't have enough sense to put sweats OVER the "party outfit," or to have stashed an outfit her parents didn't know about in the shed...

Hypothetically.

I certainly do not mean to characterize HAILEY as "sneaky".

Oh my sister did that growing up ALL the time. My mom was very conservative, and my sister would go out in an outfit mom liked. The second we got past the house, off came the top layer and there's the skimpy skirt. Then the eye make up, etc. Not saying HD did anything of the sort, but teens do it all the time.

She could be both.

Mrs. Bean...While you're digging around, would you mind bringing forward your excellent timeline? I think it would help a lot right about now! (I have it linked, but at this point I have so many links that it would take a database to neatly compile them in order to find any little tidbit). Thanks so much!

Sure. Here ya go:

I am very curious.. why does BD go after NG when KAMP was quoted in the media saying exactly what she reported?! (mind you he changed his words a million times)

BD,
examine what you are doing to keep your daughter's face in the media... this is not the way! Not the way at all imhoo!

This is what I was thinking. NG has been putting the heat on her bit by bit lately.

I think teh already answered that one. Things are getting tough, she's having trouble keeping all the lies straight and she wants off.

If Clint Dunn were to make a supportive media comment at this time I think it would be pivotal.

I also asked CZ if she was there and she said no..and I thought Clint couldn't see the back where they park..and he wasn't in attendance, so...IIRC he was pretty much standing by what Billie said at that point..While LE may have gone overboard calling it a party, I would imagine only those that attended 'the get together' really know what is was and I don't believe anything that SA or BD say at this point..moo though..

I do remember that CZ said she spoke to BD on the phone more than once that night, and she did not hear the "sound" of a party in the background. I am pretty sure that would be detected if it was truly a New Year's Eve party with alcohol served.

That is what CD says his reaction was. CJ said she did not recall his reaction.

When I watched that night, iirc, NG asked him if he had heard his mom on her show, and what did he think of that (her allegations) and he said he didn't want to hear it. So I thought (and I could be totally wrong) that he didn't want to hear it that night when his mom was on NG. And in fact I wasn't clear (after hearing from his mother and also from him that night) if she had actually told him 2 years ago.

Apologize in advance if my thoughts sound mangled. lol

I wonder what MK thinks about BD slamming NG in the media?
