If last night's NG transcript is available, I believe Rupa said that LE had found "physical evidence of Hailey at a landfill" and I think that is what LE and Billie are objecting to, as they (LE) denied this to Mark K. I don't think I had heard the word "physical" until she (Rupa) used it. (At least, I think it was Rupa.)

The bottom line is that BD's statements are not always consistent. WHAT she is trying to hide is the question. And the only thing I want to know is if the cover up has anything to do with what happened to Hailey. If BD is just trying to save face due to her way of life, all she has to do is say "that has nothing to do with finding Hailey and I don't feel I need to answer that question".

This is what I was thinking. NG has been putting the heat on her bit by bit lately.

You mean like-- Why? Yes, but Why? Why, Billie?!

Dunn says she's though twice about participating in the show. At one point during Wednesday's broadcast, she even walked out.

hmmmmmmm..............that was the tooth pulling night wasn't it?

Well, I don't know what you mean by "You do know that she didn't hear 'rude cop' don't you?" Meaning she didn't hear the recording of the "professional" response to her 911 call until we all heard it on NG? No, I don't KNOW that. I don't think any of us has direct knowledge of that, but I think it is probably a fair assumption that she didn't know. And since I wasn't there when the officer responded to her 911 call I don't KNOW what his demeanor was. I assumed he carried on in the same "professional" manner as what we heard on the recording. However, since I don't KNOW, I prefaced my comment with maybe since it was only conjecture.

Are we allowed to that here? I know that we aren't supposed to attack someone personally, but are we allowed to surmise based on deductive reasoning?

Allowed to do what? I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean...I was responding to your post....Not sure how you consider that an attack on anyone..I was asking about your statement only..it seemed to imply to me that Billie had suffered a troubled history with LE and I had never heard that..I can only suppose that you are surmising that one call (in which she almost certainly never heard the comment in the background) makes a bad history. We are allowed to ask for clarification as well and I would rather do that than have more misinformation out there than already is...

It's 1.2 miles from 1804 Chestnut to The Dollar Store..approx. 22 minute walk one way.. and 22 min back home..

IMO thats an awfully long walk for an unsupervised 13 yr old..{Dollar Store is on that Main Stretch Interstate 20 :(}

I'm way behind...as usual, these days...so sorry if this has already been addressed. I'm catching up.

IIRC, the locals have all pretty much said that kids walk all over town...there's not much to do in C-City...and that it is not unusual at all for them to walk across town unsupervised. We have also been told that folks there hadn't much locked their doors until Hailey disappeared.

Snowinmemphis, Billie said there was not a party that she did not even realize it was New Years Eve, Some believe her and some do not. I do, my family is the type that would have been at my house with me, many would have been talking, laughing etc.,, that is just what they do in time of trouble, come together and try to keep spirits up and to take your mind off the bad things. There would be lots of food furnished by family, friends, neighbors and yes someone would have had the tv on when the ball dropped.

Yes, its a small town thing death in the family or what have you, people bring food in and stay and visit. I understand that and don't make much of their gathering.

I wonder where Mark K. is now-he was just on, speaking about the little boy who was taken from his grandmother, but could not tell where he is speaking from.

And now, Jean C. is asking how preserved the little boy's body would be...why is this necessary? Ever?

Was that the night that she did actually show emotion?..for herself of course when NG started pushing a little harder..

Alright - gotta weigh in here with my opinion, not that it's worth much but - I can't believe the gall this woman has, I mean honestly. Do you know how many families of missing children would give their eye teeth to be able to have their missing child's information put on national TV like this yet she wants to sit and complain with her all about ME, ME, ME attitude, or actually in her case, US, US, US. GMAB. What's the old saying - don't look a gift horse in the mouth? Maybe if she would start telling LE the TRUTH about the events leading up to Hailey's disappearance, not walking out of lie detector tests, or walking out of interviews, LE might actually be able to get somewhere with this. All of this deflection and evasiveness is not helping LE to find Hailey. If she wants to have a relationship with Shawn Adkins, that's her business but she's made it the public's business about Hailey's disappearance and I expect her, HER, to do the right thing and that's tell the truth. This is just ridiculous and it's heartbreaking to think that this is the kind of mother that Hailey was forced to live with.

I am almost positive that the co-worker and the sister in law are one in the same..{that yes..her SIL also works at Snyder Hospital}

If so, that might explain why she still had her job after the license revocation incident. She has some family support there in other words.

What history would that be? I didn't know we knew anything regarding her history with LE...do tell :)

You do know that she didn't hear 'rude cop' don't you?

You asked what history was being referred to, then referenced the incident...

I could totally agree with you, but when was the last time the show was focused on Hailey, and not SA or BD?

"I wish they could get back to the way the show was at first," said Dunn. "We were all looking for Hailey and all wanted information on Hailey."

HAILEY is what is important!!!!

Lately the screen hasn't been full of Hailey's pictures. Those have been replaced by SA in his masks. Over and over and over...

I've noticed and complained about that in other cases, too. It's almost like the victim is forgotten and the tabloid facts about any possible POI's and even non-POI's is all that's talked about. I don't understand why parents go on a show like that unless they're just not familiar with how it usually all ends up.

I have been dying to know if this info has been found by any of you sleuthers...

How exactly is it that Billie could possibly explain that LE have her cell phone{supposedly locked up as evidence and won't return it to her}..thus we have her stating to "Hailey" on TV that "momma don't got her phone"...and that if she's able to get a call out to call 911 and not momma's phone cuz she don't have one..

But yet she consistently makes the claim that she no longer is in communication with SA.. but in that same breath..same sentence she says he texts her here and there to let her know he loves her..Hailey.. and DD..

And then when it is asked of her did she ask SA why he came back to the house after leaving work at 6:10am on the 27th?..did she ask him why in the he!! he would completely fabricate a story that he was fired that morning?..that there was a fight with a superviser that morning?.. or that he quit and walked out that morning?

she says that "no..she didn't think to ask him that".. or she says "she's never had a chance to ask him yet"... Even tho he was still living full time in the home with until 1/5/11 and BD knew about the inconsistencies on 12/29/10{if not before}..IN ALL THAT TIME IT NEVER ONCE EVER CROSSED YOUR MIND TO ASK THESE QUESTIONS OF DIRE IMPORTANCE THAT LIKELY ARE DIRECTLY CONNECTED WITH YOUR 13 YR OLD BEING "DISAPPEARED"????

So what gives?? How does she have no phone..but yet still "communicates thru text with SA"{even tho she says there is no communications??}..and how could these questions have NOT come up? and NOT answered?

That is a HECK of a walk, when i was 13, I had a lot of friends with cars, but I'd ride my bike too, but never walk that far!!

I can confirm that 13 year olds do walk that far...and not just in small west Texas towns. I'm a middle school teacher and I see my kids EVERYWHERE --miles and miles from home --and always on foot. When we get back to school on Mondays, I often comment to them that I saw them here or there and they will then proceed to give me the whole rundown of their pedestrian travels. It is not unusual for a lot of them to walk the 5-6 miles to the next town and back -- just to go hang out at the local DQ or to skateboard with friends.

I think she was out looking for her daughter, didn't have a phone, and the logical thing was to go to the police office. In a small town, if you are already out driving, it usually takes only a few minutes to get there. That's how my town is.

I would have gone to the police station for sure. Why wait for one officer to get there, it would be much quicker to file the report in the station.

I believe so. But don't worry about Billie; she just happens to have some pills for toothaches handy at all times....

I would bet he went out looking for her. They are just 3 years apart. My son is 4 yrs older than my daughter and on the few scary occasions that she was not where she was supposed to be, it was our son who was best able to find out the facts. I am sure DD went out and looked where she and her friends would usually hang out.

very good point bbm

My brother also was the one that could find me, :innocent:
