One more thing...when BD was asked about HD telling a relative SA made her uncomfortable by standing outside her bedroom door at night, BD brushes it off and seems to not believe it. Then she says that HD usually slept on the couch and only started sleeping in her room about a week before she went missing.

Sounds odd for a teenage girl not to sleep in her bedroom in the first place, but if she did prefer to sleep on the couch, I wonder what made her suddenly start sleeping in her bedroom.

I think Marc has to follow his instincts in his work. Just as we do in our interpersonal relationships with friends and people we come in contact with each day.

Could he be misguided? Yes and it will break his heart. Could he be right? Yes and he is a voice that can make a difference. In either case his voice is for all of the missing in our Country.

Marc can help organize the effort to find Hailey and that is the most important part of his participation. It is a true Blessing for Hailey.

I don't always agree with Marc on every case about who he thinks is the guilty party.
I do however support his mission to guide the family through this darkness.

If he and others like him did not reach out and trust out of fear they may get burned, missing children and persons would be losing champions to their plight.

"Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does."

Hypothetical question for you......
If MK tells BD that he agrees that contact with SA is NOT a good idea, do you think BD will NOT be as eager to have MK around?

From her past behavior, that wouldn't surprise me at all.

Vigils, searches continue but no progress announced about missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn http://www.reporternews.com/news/20...ue-but-no-progress-about/?partner=yahoo_feeds
:SNIP:
"The hits were not necessarily related to the Hailey Dunn case," said Pete Kampfer, Colorado City's city manager and media liaison for the task force. "Then, they send a second team of dogs out to corroborate certain areas where the dogs hit."

On Thursday night's broadcast of "Nancy Grace" on HLN, it was reported that the dogs hit on evidence directly related to the case.

"I did not say that," Kampfer said. "I don't know where they got that information."

IIRC, it was because she got a new TV for her room. but then I wonder...did SA purchase the TV for her?

It was Clint's Mom who said Hailey was afraid of SA.

Some people have been saying that Hailey received a TV for Xmas, and that is why she started sleeping in her room. I do not know where this information came from. It might have been from Billie on Nancy Grace, but I'm not sure.

I don't think he meant that you need to get cleared in order to be innocent. I think he meant in order to get the focus off of yourself. I wouldn't doubt that he's encouraged BD to do just that.

I think your questions are good ones and I'd love to be asking MK directly. I can't imagine he would back up someone he felt had a hand in doing something to a child though. It's just not in him.
I respect MK and hold him in very high regard. I'm wondering if MK acts as liason between BD and the FBI to get her polygraphed again and BD gets backed into a corner and refuses - then what would MK do? He is there to find Hailey. If BD does refuse another poly I think we will see more of MK at the search headquarters and tending to other activities that relate to the search for Hailey.

What do you think MK will do if BD refuses a poly that MK helps arrange?

Would he do that though? After what happened to Tim Miller with Misty Croslin, I wouldn't even try.

MK is there for Hailey Dunn and no one else. And who better to have than MK right at BD side soaking in as much information as he can weather it hangs BD in the long run or not.
He is in the exact position every inquiring mind want to be in concerning Haileys whereabouts.
Now if BD will just be honest with him, maybe he could do the job he went there to do Find Hailey!

Well if anyone was doing a roleplaying crimestory,as in things BD and SA have read, this sure wouldn't be the way anyone would want it to go.

Oh,if BD doesn't go back on NG,I have a feeling it's going to get real interesting on there.KWIM

NO I didn't mean like TM did. Tim set up MC with private polygraphrs - IIRC. I mean more like MK calling whichever agent is in charge and discussing setting up another with a reputable polygrapher and then going to BD and discussing with her - just a liason.
And BD refuses. MK knows the importance of that - first hand! He would have never refused to take one. And if he knows its a respected polygrapher than what's the problem? How do you think MK will react to her refusing?

I wonder if Marc is supporting both parents or just Billie?

BD's words are colder in print than in person. She should practice using Haileys name more often.

"We will continue to work on this as long as it takes to find her," said Sheriff Toombs.
A promise echoed by volunteer searchers and Hailey's own mom and dad.
"Missing kids come home," said Billie Dunn.
Clint Dunn added, "We're going to find her."

Exactly my thoughts. More likely, he suggested that BD buy the tv for HD as a gift. Then she would start spending more time alone in the privacy of hger room, which makes her a better target in the middle of the night.

I think he totally would depend on what else he's gathered from his stay there. It's so hard to tell? Would he work with LE to get information from her? I have no idea to what lengths he'll go to find Hailey. But I do believe he wants to find her so the family will have closure.

I'm off to bed. :offtobed:

Be good to the night crew.

I don't get what BD is saying about LE having to calm her down after the NG show when she calls them.Watching her reactions when things are being said like cadaver dog hits she doesn't change in her expression and things said about Zahra and how she was found,BD didn't flinch. Is she that controlled?I know she was a nurse, but it's odd.

So many searches have been done with no sign of Hailey. How do we know that someone, maybe a trucker, didn't just grab her off the street and take her not only out of state but to Mexico. No one has been searching in Mexico, right? How hard would it be to take her across the border to hide her somewhere or maybe sell her? From Mexico she could even be sent on somewhere else. How do we know that Hailey is even anywhere near the area of Texas she disappeared from? I can see that Shawn is a real jerk and that he does crazy things, and I doubt that he loved Hailey like he said he did, but that doesn't prove he did something to Hailey--unless the police have a lot of evidence that they aren't telling us about. I am torn between thinking Shawn did something to Hailey and thinking that it was a stranger abduction. I don't think Billie or Clint had anything to do with Hailey going missing and I don't think she was a runaway. But even a runaway can be kidnapped or killed while out on the streets unprotected by caring adults. Also, have police been checking freezers in the houses they have inspected? Many times I have read of killers hiding their victims in freezers in their houses. I sure hope this isn't the case with Hailey but I wonder if the police have looked in freezers in places like Shawn's mother's and grandmother's houses, even in Billie's house. Also in the houses of sex offenders. Haliey has to be somewhere! I wish someone who knows something would start talking.

I just watched SA's interviews from 1/3 and 1/4. He reminded me of Scott Peterson. He had that same slight grin that SP had. Void of any emotion. He hardly even blinked.

imo...MK will not announce to the media that happened. He would tell LE tho... then I think you're correct as far as MK's role being more at the search headquarters. I don't think we'd see MK standing besides BD during any interviews anymore. imo.
