Well I'll be darned if I can find it, but I swear I can hear Billie's voice and see her face saying that she looked on her phone and saw the message to MB.

This is going to drive me crazy until I find it.

Hailey's mom, Billie Dunn, told a Nancy Grace show producer that investigators informed her Hailey may have sent a text message to a friend at 2 p.m. on the 27th that allegedly said, "what are you doing?"
No information will be released about any text message, Pete Kampfer, spokesperson for the Colorado City Police Department said. Any information in that respect will be "held close to the investigation," he said.

Does this help answer the question? I do not believe she said she had seen the message herself.

I know in a show I watched last night the detective told the suspect he had it all on video, so the suspect confessed. Of course there was no video.

Lol, I just meant from time to time, not that specific day.
Like maybe going home to get high on his lunch hour was part of his normal routine.

Oh ok! I'm sorry! You're right..he could have..or he could have just gone out to his vehicle to get stoned during lunch, lol!

LE must be tearing their hair out.

They'll get no sympathy from me. Tear their hair out, twiddles thumbs, but NO searching of SA associated locations. :furious:

SA should of read up on the Danielle Jones case. He was convicted based on text messages he tried to disquise. Her body was never found.

Is there a mapped out version of SA cell phone pings - if there is can someone share the link with me ...
Thanks
Sherry

So SA sure has some strange electromagnetic field about him, huh? Makes cell phone towers ping in wrong places and has messages magically disappearing from his phone...

LOL! You NEVER know what's under those masks!!

I dunno. I think he seriously believed no one would care enough about Hailey and uncover his activities, videos, pictures, family, friends, etc.

The story was getting national coverage for DAYS before the videos and pictures were aired on Nancy Grace. By that point, he would have KNOWN that it was going to get big.

Hello cheroke, welcome to WebSleuths. Here's a map from the Nancy show. A little grainy but it can be read.

Wouldn't it be something if the masks, hobbies, etc...truly have nothing to do with Hailey...

I'd hate to think I got that crap all over my hard drive for nothing!

If by some miracle,SA had nothing to do with this whole horrible mess we are in deep trouble, because he is a sick one, and I don't believe he was joking when he wrote that he wanted to terrorize and kill people for real.
If someone beat him to the punch, it's only a matter of time before SA decides its time to roll. MOO, of course.

I think it would be two way. I use yahoo all the time to texts my kids, jsut because I HATE texting on the phone .. much quicker and easier to do it through yahoo. As long as I am signed in, I receive texts back from them.

I do the same thing from yahoo!! MUCH easier to text from my laptop than from my phone...I can't even read the letters on my phone without getting right under the light..and I DO NOT know they keyboard..so I am a very slow typer to begin with!

I know people will think I'm crazy..(not that most don't already!) but I don't believe the masks will have any part in this...jmo..

Well, he was pretty good at predicting the reaction of the CCPD, because they didn't find any of it.

ALEXIS WEED, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Billie Dunn is telling us that she saw herself that text, that she saw it before police seized her phone, which they still have. Her phone has not been returned. So she`s saying that she saw it with her own eyes, that "WRUD," what are you doing, to the friend.

GRACE: Do you know, Alexis, what time of the day that text was sent?

WEED: Billie Dunn said it was just after 2:00 o`clock in the afternoon.

I don't think he used one of his masks or anything like that, if that's what you mean. MOO, my finding any relevancy with the 'masks' is more of it being related to things he was saying on a site he ordered a mask from, kind of insight into what he thinks about, and his not seeming to have any qualms about posting stuff like that online.

I can't figure SA out...he thought that deleting text messages would keep LE from seeing them but knew to take battery out of phone to avoid pings? Or was the battery simply dead on his phone and was on the charger at momma's house?

Maybe he was in an area with no s i g n a l. . .oh my, cell phones don't ping underground, do they? Wow. I just blew my own mind. Why didn't I think of that before?

I know it's a long shot, be there have been killers with dugouts and such. I have considered she might have been put somewhere underground, but I didn't think of what an underground room would do to the phone signal.

The other alternative could be that his phone did ping but the cops have a reason to leave those pings out of the public affadavit. Maybe they just don't want to tell and see whose story fills in the blank.

If your child was missing, would you just assume anything??

I can't understand why BD didn't grill SA up one side and down the other from the git-go. "Tell me EXACTLY what Hailey said, what she was wearing, did she seem happy, nervous, excited, was her hair combed, are you SURE she left at that time?", etc.

Also, cz told us BD first learned Shawn had not been fired on the Wednesday they were both interviewed by police.

But BD didn't kick him out of the house until several days later. Yet, we still have no reasonable explanation for his mistruthification. BD claims she just never got a chance to ask him.

Whaaaa???? :banghead:

IIRC

Yes indeed! This is the part screams to me about BD's story. Neither were working, spending 24/7 together in house after Hailey is missing. What ELSE would you talk about?????

I apologize for quoting myself. Just wanted to reply in regards to him out getting high.

IMO

Yep, I agree he might have been getting high either at home or in the parking lot. I tend to think peeps that get high do it where ever it is at the moment they have the urge. He wouldnt drive all that way to just get high.

BUT, what I was trying to say in my quote below is that BILLIE D WAS QUICK TO COVER HIS BEING HOME "THAT" DAY. That SHE didnt think it was HINKY! Then we find out the whole went to work for 10 minutes and arrived to the house at 3 only to see Hailey leave at 3:15...Is she really this oblivious? Just makes me seriously consider her involvement from early on because of her lack of mother instinct. I would have turned on him then-when I found out that he broke his routine and came home for lunch let alone finding out SA really got home at 3 and was fired~sheesh.
Hope this makes it clearer.
IMO

I have had a problem with the initial time of 1:00 lunch because if SA has an hour lunch he spends 27 minutes driving each way. Leaves about 6 minutes to do whatever and then rush back. Anyone might have an hour lunch but for BD to so quickly come up with that as a normal activity like SA does it often seems sketchy.
Also take into account the cost of the gasoline every day...Gas is expensive and they dont appear to have lots extra to waste. Why not just pack a lunch or grab something quick with the guys at the local burger joint. I just thought it was odd she presented this as normal. I have had a problem with that from day1.

So if we use common sense, we kind of have to assume that she saw the text on the phone.
She rushes home to see if her missing daughter is home yet. First thing she would do is grab the cell phone, the one her daughter was using when she was home last, and the one she would call if she needed help.
Wouldn't she immediately LOOK at the call log and the stored texts?
