I understand what you are saying kind of. And in a town where the women outnumber the men 2 to 1/ It may be fairly common. I don't think there are too many available men. I do know several people here where I live that have met, and married men on the internet. Not my thing but who knows. jmo

If there is any possibility that this person she speaks about tonight has Hailey, she could have just set off a chain of events that we don't want to think about. There are certain things you just do not share. Her daughter's life could be on the line if this person is a true POI.

This last sentence is why she needs some professional advice before she speaks. She may be so desperate to try to clear SA that she says things that could hurt Hailey.

We haven't heard about this person, but we also didn't hear about a few others until recently. I think LE wants her to keep things quiet, but she's finding that hard to do with the case stalling like it is.

I don't think CZ is clueless, I think she needs to confirm with BD exactly who she is speaking about. There may be a lot we don't know, and CZ doesn't want to let the wrong cat out of the bag.

I don't think Cz is clueless either. I said about 'this' particular guy she was.

I am saying that if this guy is really a potential suspect and could have taken HD then I would think LE would have found him already. And if not, then the guy would have been on the run, and then we should have heard about it. There would have been a report to look out for him if LE thought he was a serious POI.

BD did not say he threatened to KILL them, or threatened their LIVES. This guy could have said he'd kill them, but he just as easily could have said he'd like to smack them both upside the head.

If the LE in question were mired in an investigation with several other LE agencies and the one in charge of press conferences was completely out of his area of expertise...you bet I'd do it! I sure wouldn't wait around while they gave everyone the impression I was lying.

To be honest though its not the police who so much gives the impression that Billie is lieing. People on this very forum read through interviews that Billie has given and have noticed the different versions she has given.

Why didn't she say anything about this former friend who could not be located?

I bet if she posted his name we could find him for her.

Apparently, she has told LE, we just don't know when.
And... she could have been a little scared to go blurting out his name on NG, thinking he really might come after her.

Quoting my own post rude I know...... and if she is afraid of her rights then take an attorney with her. But an investigation is only as good as the foundation. And so far we are not hearing that conflicting statements have been cleared up. She is Hailey's voice.

If someone said "BD isn't being honest" then why not ask "What do you feel she's being dishonest about?"

Well I just have a sunken feeling in my gut now. What kind of a person threatens to hurt someones child? What kind of shady people have been introduced into Haileys life? Not once. But twice. How many more are out there? This makes me very sad.
