Yes - Elizabeth's Olten's murderer - Alyssa Bustamante - wanted to "know what it felt like".

Based on what we've read & heard about SA - I would not be surprised if evidence arises to support a similar scenario. I speculated about it awhile ago.

And Alyssa Bustamante was a teenager. Who's to say there isn't an Alyssa around Haley somewhere.

SA behaves like a teen, imo.

There was sighting that in my opinion was the most reliable one we have had yet. It was early on and a woman who knows Hailey, knows MB, and knows MB's boyfriend saw all three that evening walking along the road.

What if Shawn did something to Hailey Tuesday morning? Where was HE on Tuesday?

Is it just me or was the use of "dark boy" to describe the little boy a HORRIBLE choice of words?
i am personally offended.. as my son .... that I adopted at birth and is darker than me or my husband... is dark... huge offense...HUGE....

Just a random thought. If I'm SA and had help, and LE said my help was not a poi, it might make me mad. And I might say something.

Informal poll, thank this post if you have ever called the police station to tell them you were on the way to the police station to file a report.

Personally - I don't do polls.

If I have an emergency situation to report to the police - I call 911.

I have.
I had a business partner that was going through a divorce and his wife cleaned out our business account. I called the non emergency number, told them I was coming in to make a police report and asked what documentation I would need, and then I went in and made my report.

Says much about her character imo..

Have we heard any reports of any peeping toms, lurkers at school bus stops, assaults, rapes, etc going on in CC in the past year?

To use this post as a jumping point, due to living in such a small town growing up, there were times when there would only be one maybe two cops on duty at any given time, and add to that, that they would also patrol a few of the smaller towns that were about five miles from our town. Almost always you would call ahead to the station to make sure that the cop was there or if he was off doing patrolling.

am I the only one sitting on hands and hoping LE can bring this thing to justice? waiting for the grand jury that we already know ((past links)) they are preparing a case to present?

where is Hailey? why isn't she home? why isn't she at her volley ball and basketball games? I do not see her missing them for anything...

someone bad did something to her... and whomever they are.. wherever they are they just need to come clean... give an annonymous tip.... just tell us where she is....

it is THAT simple...

if you know where Hailey is please call...

I'm sorry nurse. :( I thought it was really insensitive.

Some pretty big bus coming through CC today, eh?

True. But I would also be glad in some way, especially if I had doubts about my helper ratting me out in a plea bargain, kwim? I guarantee you, though, that if charges are ever brought against SA - and SA alone - and there was a helper, he will rat that helper out. (MOO...).

bringing over grandmaj's post from thread #50

Can anyone tell me what the rule is about speculating on minors or discussing minors?

Does that change because BD doesn't accept the police investigation answers that we know at this time?

I still can't help but wonder what the logic was behind not staying put at home and letting LE come to you. I mean IF this situation struck a cord of fear when Billie realized that Hailey was not where she was supposed to be (which it most certainly would with me..just long before Tuesday) and a child has been abducted or missing from the home involuntarily (which it was she said she thought) then LE is coming to your home anyway..so why go there..IDK, I've always found that extremely unusual..MOO

I posted a link a few pages back to where cz said he was at his mom's, or rather - that's what he told Billie.

I'm sure LE has an idea if that's the truth or not.

ETA: Here you go:

I think cz told us awhile back that he told Billie that he was at his mother's again on the 28th.

Does anyone besides me think it is possible that the conversation went something like this:

BD: Could you please call the police station and tell them HD is missing and that I will be there shortly to file a report, but can they get the word out?

CD: okay

call never happens?

for whatever reason....maybe CD thought he would wait and talk to BD and get the story before he called the police? We don't know what their relationship was before the disappearance. Obviously, they couldn't make the marriage work, and some of it may have been due to communication or lack thereof. This is speculation only.....

Just trying to make sense of this...perhaps BD isn't the articulate type. :)

I doubt very much a teen would be this "successful" in hiding Hailey's body if a teen or peer had taken her. I think we are looking for an adult with access to a vehicle...quite possibly someone who was not where they would normally be on a Monday...yet would not stand out in the neighborhood...hmmm...
