Well that has been disputed that she was home all day Sunday because Clint said on NG one night that the video at the Dollar Store was Sunday.

C D and his girlfriend, N S, told the Reporter-News that Hailey had spent Christmas night at C D's home.

NS and CD said Hailey walked to the Dollar Store and Alco department store Sunday, not Monday, as Burroughs told police.

"She never came over at all Monday," S said.

"Police have told us surveillance tapes at both stores put Hailey there on Sunday," C D said.

So Hailey could not have been home all day Sunday.

Seems all of a sudden an eerie silence. Hopefully a big break coming soon or better yet Hailey found.

I don't know how you all do it. I have a horrendous headache. It's taken me hours to get caught up from yesterday. I was folding clothes tonight, getting ready to put them up...until I realized I refolded twice. :crazy::floorlaugh:

Well *I* certainly wouldn't take Shawn out of the equation - he's a named suspect, for God's sake. But *Billie* is working hard to. You'd have to ask her why she's doing that.

The pink and white tennis shoes, that HD was reported wearing, and in Xmas picture with HD, BD, and SA, Billie had the pink and white ones on.( I know the pink and W ones were found in Hailey's room, but have the black ones HD had on in the picture ever been accounted for? Have we seen them on BD in any of the videos? JW

IMO, if she hadn't put in what she had been told by SA, people would be wondering "why isn't she telling us what SA told her?" I've seen many similar posts already when people thought she wasn't telling "the public" enough. She can't win for losing. I feel enormous sympathy for this woman. Really, really bad taste in men though.

Then imo she should say " Shawn told me he did NOT come to Chestnut street, he just drove by on way to Mom's house. But she inserted HIS VERSION of events into her timeline as if it was something she could confirm.

He is still a prime suspect in her daughters disappearance. He has lied to her in the past, even recently, concerning important events surrounding the day she went missing. So how the heck can she put his new version of events into her timeline and assert them as factual?

And now I have the BOMBSHELL of all BOMBSHELLS!!!!

Shawn and I still got back to Colorado City about 7:30 that evening, and we were probably in bed by nine.

[DD] came in to say good night soon after.

I was kind of upset that Hailey hadn’t called me, and confirmed that Shawn had let me know that she was staying the night with a friend, but I wasn’t worried about her.

I recall SA and Billie saying it was worrisome that Hailey took nothing with her....scary, even. But, Billie told NG that it was normal for Hailey to go spend the night with friends with "only the clothes on her back"...so, which is it?? Normal or scary? :waitasec:

Maybe it wasn't worriesome when she did it and came home the next day, but NOW, very, very worrisome that she has been gone for weeks and took nothing with her. This would, I think, scare any parent, even a less than stellar one.

Maybe because she felt it was 30 minutes of down time where she didn't know what was going on and she wanted to feel something was being done. He was right there in town so why shouldn't he go. What is the big deal that she asked him to do that. And why didn't he? That is what is EXTREMELY ODD to me. jmo

Well, I'm just going by my response to listening to the 911 t-shirt tape. If BD had a history of being demanding and histrionic, maybe he believed this was just another BD drama episode??? Boys-who-cry-wolf too often get ignored eventually.

Maybe BD had a history of trying to take CD's attention and time away from his GF, her child, and their baby together?

Maybe CD was busy with the care of his baby and could not leave at BD's 'sudden' attack of mothering concern?

Maybe he knows her well enough to sense that something just wasn't right in what she was requesting? And I can see that by the fact that she did NOT go straight to LE as said she was going to do. What an embarassment for HIM to have to "announce" her imminent arrival. It seems hinky to ME; maybe not if they had gotten along in the past and communicated well as common parents of the same children, but this was NOT the case, IIRC.

I can think of a number of other possible reasons, and they all seem reasonable to me.

Somebody here noted that BD seemed to be wearing that black/purple pair herself during the presser.

Nuts, it is nuts.....I read here off and on in the mornings before work...then I break neck home to do supper and read here some more...I think I have the days straight and then another shift of WS's come on and I am confused all over again,lol......Why can't this be simple...she was here on ? day and was not here on ? day.....I can't keep it straight and I only pray LE can.......they are my hope here.

As far as we know DD last saw HD on Sunday night at 9pm when he left to go to a friends house.

So when they say Christmas night, do they mean Christmas eve or do they mean Christmas Day night? I had a hard time this Christmas keeping the days straight. Christmas Eve was Friday, and Christmas Day was Saturday.

I think it odd that HD would spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with CD. But, maybe so since Sunday was probably a day off for BD and SA so it didn't matter. Has anyone actually seen tape from Dollar Store with the date stamp on it? tia

Someone spotted black shoes on BD's feet yesterday at her presser. Don't know if they are the same black shoes.

Not that day..That's why it sticks out in my mind that Billie insisted that Hailey was home all day..because she said something to the effect of ..she didn't believe that the woman got her days mixed up..that Hailey was home all day on Sunday and the hairdresser(?) had seen the 2 going to the store on Monday. Hailey was alone in the Sunday video..Does that make any sense?
