Looking at this map made me think of the Monica Carrasco case.
Here is link about Monica http://www.missingmonica.com/- she went missing about 210 miles away, HOWEVER, off the same interstate and also a very rural town.

Lindsey Baum had family that lived either in Big Spring, Tx or Midland, Tx.

totally strange that many failed a polygraph something is wrong

We haven't seen that many people fail a poly (in one case) since the Cummings/Croslin gang were getting poly's left and right. And speaking of this group, the comment made above about "that little girl"....isn't that exactly what Misty said in an interview about Haleigh Cummings?

I think Woody the polygrapher is saying that the results of handfuls of failing polygraphs is perhaps negating the science of the polygraph. Methinks either the machine is wonky or the polygrapher is wonky. Maybe Woody should go down there and do it! (IIFC, Billie said a local polygrapher and not FBI, correct?)

Yes, she said a polygrapher out of Big Spring named Matt.

I'm just not getting anything hinky outta BD....she seems to be talking straight up.

Especially compared to Misty C -- not the same at all!

Can you sue law enforcement?

NG asked the dad if he took poly & he said "no"..He plans on it soon???? When he said "no" Billie said softly "you should" & she didn't look too happy when she looked at him & said it.

It was kinda hard to hear her but I was doing my best to "listen".

I don't think Billie had a thing to do with Hailey's disappearance. If she had done something to her all she had to do was leave it to the local LE....they thought she was a run away and were not really investigating. JMO

I think the whole poly thing is a mess. It appears that at minimum there were 5 people who failed, so if we want to go there are we saying that this was a huge nasty ugly cover up?

I think the family and friends are very distraught. They have had to fight the whole time for something to be done. Not a good state to be in when having a polygraph. The handling of the case is bad. They family is being poorly protected by LE.

Omg, they have been taking adivan (sp). I have experience with that drug, it makes you violent when your trying to come off it.

It's odd how meds affect different people. I've taken Ativan on and off for years when I had panic attacks and never had withdrawals and was never violent.
Sorry you had such troubles.
I will say IJMHO that Ativan does NOT make someone fail a LDT, no way.

She said "I don't think you should" she no longer trusts it

I agree with the defense lawyers on this poly test. If I was Hailey's mom I would be lawyering up and not because I did anything but because I think that the polygrapher doesn't know what he is doing.

Matt the Polygrapher needs a new line of work......

  • #214
The poly is only effective as in the person who is administering it and analyzing it.

I think If I were in Mom's place and they told me that the BF I brought into my home failed a poly and MIGHTbe responsible for my child's disappearance. I would fail too. I would be thinking she was for sure gone, and I would feel responsible for this happening to her.
So the question did you have anything to do with the diappearance of Hailey? I'm pretty certain I would fail in that situation. I would be thinking of how my decisions led to this.

SO SAD...

So they took ativan which calms you down....he failed his first. Probably rightfully so, she has an excuse. But it's really simple. There is no big conspiracy to make them fail. Goodness, he's guilty and she's a wreck.

BillyD: No ---hasn't spoken to him since moved out

  • #218
Yes, I heard that. Can you blame her? She knows that she had nothing to do with this and can no longer trust the test. I'm sure she doesn't want CD to have to go through what she is.

I thought she said he "should" take the test..Am I the only one that heard it that way?
