Trying to figure out what was in the shed or house that may have helped them, other than the normal stuff you'd expect in a case like this (rope, shovels, weapons, discarded clothing, etc). Maybe diary, letters, pictures, videos?

Now i am thinking about may a group of her "friends" was she set up to belive she was going to stay all night and started walking that was and was ambushed by her "enemies" along the way? I sure hope not..but its a reasonable scenario.

I don't think a group of middle-schoolers (or even high-schoolers) could keep anything quiet that long. :twocents:

Maybe the polygraphs didn't reveal any new information so they are starting back at scratch. I would love it if it was so simple and Hailey is found hiding in a closet.

It may be an issue of semantics. LE might not say anyone "passed" or "failed"...but they might say "there was deception indicated." So Billie might well have been told deception was indicated and put in the layman's terms of passed or failed.

Well if they asked " do you know anything about Hailys disappearance" and she said no...how does that work cause obviously she does know Haileys missing ect.

Could this be where the deception is?

The small group of people comment has me wondering if we're not dealing with a group of her friends....

could be sex offenders. I got a list of 10 ( that could be small group)

Still stuck on did or did LE not tell who failed/passed polygraphs. Perhaps someone used evasive language that implied folks had failed - whether that was their intention or not? Example at the end of the test, perhaps a comment was made such as: "we don't think he's telling us the truth"... "we think you're hiding something"... "we think you know more"..."so-and-so missed a few questions"...

Really, I can't get past this part of the whole investigation b/c it seems so bizarre for a handful of folks to fail, unless those handful of folks really are involved. And I don't believe that the mom is involved AT ALL. I just cannot see it...

Billie was very clear in stating that she was told they both failed.

Search Intensifies; Officials Looking North Of Colorado City

...Law enforcement officials are focusing their search on the northern areas in Colorado City, and KTXS has learned, as far north as the community of Dunn, about 13 miles north of Colorado City. Search officials have also said they’re interested in searching an abandoned cotton gin in the area....

BBM

A lot happening today... I hope they find her. Soon. I wanted to reach through the TV (well, computer) and hug Billie last night on NG...(((hug)))

hmmm - why is a San Antonio station reporting something we haven't heard from media in the area? (re: small group of people involved)

I wished there was a reporter's name on that article.

If it's the guy that was on NG last nite saying the longhaul truckers need to stopover in a C-City hotel on a drive from Midland to Dallas then pfffft....it's only about a 5 hour drive!
