I think BD needs to lawyer up at this point just to make them leave her alone. It's driving me crazy what they are putting her through.
I admit I have been zeroing in on SA this whole time, but what if she did leave the house, go over to C's house and something happened there? Why haven't they given him a polygraph, searched his house or vehicle. Shouldn't everyone be checked out. Maybe she did leave home at 3:15 and planned on calling the friend from her d's house about going over. Just thoughts to ponder. IMO

i agree!! thinking limited income and prob last thing on her mind at this point but she does

Please for your own safety lock it down - if anybody needs wifi they can go to the nearest internet cafe or somewhere else. Please for your own safety.

MANY thanks! Will address this tonight! TY for all caring friends... hugs :panic:

"We're still hoping to find Hailey alive somewhere," said Senior Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Sparky Dean.
.....................
"Everything takes time," said Dean. "Not everyone is forthcoming with interviews and telling the truth. It doesn't mean they're guilty of something. They may just not be comfortable talking to a police officer."

Pulled from the resource guide at
www.4themissing.net
Flyer Distribution
o Print and distribute flyers within 5 mile radius of PLS (solicit help)

§ Service stations (every store if possible)
§ Truck stops
§ Hotels
§ Child related businesses
§ Hospitals
§ Doctor’s offices
§ Apartment complexes
§ Airports
§ Rental car agencies
§ Sporting events
§ Parks
§ Homeless shelters and community kitchens
§ Suicide prevention lines
§ Public transportation

§ City Govt buildings
§ Yahoo groups (via email)
§ Bike couriers
§ Meter readers
§ Phone companies/trucks

(check them off)

o Send web version to groups who are out often
§ Jogging
§ Cycling
§ Mom’s groups
§ Riding (horse and motorcycle) Groups
§ Team in training
§ Girl/Boy Scouts
§ Big Brother/Big Sister
§ PTA

Other means of distributing flyers

See if local papers will insert flyers in the paper
Ask churches to hand out at their services
Ask pizza companies to place on each box
Ask larger businesses if they will forward to all branch locations
Ask delivery truck drivers to drop off flyers at every stop they make

People know people, try to find out who know high profile people including athletes, celebrities, anyone with connections that can help spread the word and help with the media.

We are certainly working at a disadvantage at 11 days in, but it is never too late. The area of flyer posting needs to be expanded at this point to 50 miles plus at a minimum.

LE knows exactly what they're doing, they know more about everyone than we do.
LE says that everything takes time, not everyone is forthcoming with interviews and telling the truth. They said it doesn't mean they're guilty of something. They may not be comfortable talking to a police officer. So they'll keep bringing in those people until they get the answers they're looking for. When a child's missing, there's nothing that should be held back for any reason, because it could be a key to what happened and where she is.

I know getting a lawyer looks bad....but they are the only ones who could let her catch her breath and not be taken in for questioning at all hours every day. He could still let her talk and help them. A spokesperson wouldn't talk to LE for her, they would only address the media.

Someone knows where Hailey is, plain and simple. She is not holed up in the woods somewhere alone living off the land. So, either someone is covering and concealing her and she is there voluntarily, or she is being held against her will, or someone has done harm to her. No matter how you cut it though, someone knows...

Actually, you couldn't get me out of LE's offices,I would sleep on a bench.

San Angelo woman mobilizes to help search for missing girl

<snip>

Melissa Jo Walker, now of San Angelo, said her plan is to car-pool to Colorado City, coordinate with the existing search team and work their way back to San Angelo, searching the areas between.

“Maybe if we could organize a group here and kind of close in on that area from this direction, who knows, maybe we could find something,” Walker said.
.............
“Pain, really, is the motivator,” she said, hoping that she could help anyone avoid having to go through a similar experience. “I just remember how hard it is when your child is missing. There’s no rest, there’s no peace until you know where your child is.”

Considering that this happened in the middle of the day, on what was likely a holiday for most people and all schoolchildren, you'd think someone would have seen something. A lot of people should have been out and about that day I would think.

Is TX weather suppose to be good for searching this weekend?
BTW snowing here...............20 degrees

Colorado City is suppose to have some a.m. showers Sunday but otherwise nice weather during the day for the next 10 days. A little cool for my liking a couple days next week but I am a southerner and 40's is cold to us. Nights are going to be cold. The icy/snow mix is suppose to be north of Colorado City Sat/Sun.
