I was also at the search again today. No breaking news that I am aware of. I know LE searched this a.m and then Snyder Fire Department was called out at 2pm. My understanding is they also found nothing. The search was very wide spread today. BF and I on an ATV covered approx 10 miles in and out of fields, along back roads and off of main roadways.

Hi Folks. Does anyone know why HD's community FB page is shut down?

Rumors say either FB glitch or LE took it over.

It IS working now (the original one), but wasn't very well this morning. A second page has been started though. Search HELP find hailey dunn to find the second one.
The original one is just FIND hailey dunn.

i was wondering if they are going to get a specific line for tips. they are giving out the number to the police station and they dont have many people working there. or did they get someone to come in and help with the calls. just think theres people calling wondering if a rumor is true,or how to help family or workers or LE. then the accual tips. maby even people calling just to give them a piece of there mind about not knowing anything or whatever they may be worried about.

is there enough people and recorses to handle all these calls properly and is someone with a valuable tip not able to get thru cause phone is busy?
is ther orginizations to help fund these extra expences put on ccity, we arent the welthiest town. jat

A tip line set up for the missing teen said gotten an average of 30 calls per day according to City Manager Pete Kampfer, who has acted as a spokesman for the Colorado City Police Department.

Am I dreaming or did somebody on the FB site say a missing Lubbock girl turned up in Colorado City today??? Surely I read that wrong.

No name was given but a link a page or so back said that she was a runaway and falsely reported that a Hispanic man had tried to grab her and she has been "arrested."

Police and law enforcement have spent the day combing a 6 mile stretch in the town of Dunn just north of Colorado City.

They say some good leads sent them to that area.

Whoa!!! Does this mean they think they will find a bloody knife or smoking gun. I think little Hailey is a whole lotta miles away by now. JMO.

What could a landfill turn up that would still keep runaway in the picture, I wonder...

As far as FB, I have been able to see the original page all day. I think there was a FB glitch and someone freaked and created a new page...

I think they want to rule out whatever they can. the landfil is used almost everyday and they need to get that done fast.

Could someone have said something to Hailey that would have caused her to leave? Maybe something along the lines of "your mom (dad) doesn't want you here." "It costs to much to feed/house/ whatever." "Your cheerleading costs too much."

Do you see what I'm getting at? Kids that age wear their emotions on their sleeves and if someone suggested to her that possibly mom and/or dad were struggling because of her.........

This person doesn't necessarily have to be an adult - could have been a friend or a friend of her brother - kids are cruel - KWIM?

Well, NG is rerunning Thursday's show. I hope she continues Monday if Hailey is not safe home by then. And even if Hailey is home, I would really like to know about the investigation and why so many things are hinky and strange.

I know here in my little part of world if it not happening here no sense to worry about it:furious: In fact if I bring up amissing child to friends that don;t want to hear it :furious:

Alot of people don't want to hear it. I have always had men in my life that pay attention to things like this. The first one had a fit over my DD (age 12) wearing jogging shorts, "too short, he says, I know how men think'. He hid them (1980), we didn't find them til she was 18 and we were moving out of the house.

Well I am not 100% sure it was truckstops, but something in the Brittany Smith case surprised me with the cooperation LE got from some companies that actually took the posters and began faxing to ALL of their locations and having them put up in their business. I really cannot remember which it was though, truck stop or some well-known national company? Anyone recall that when Brittany Smith was still missing?

I totally agree with you. "HINKY and STRANGE"
All the LE,FBI,SS etc and searches.....very ODD wording in media articles........

OT: PLEASE check out the new campaign that is being launched for Lindsey this week by the CUE center for missing person's. Monica Caison is the founder of the center and she NEVER gives up. And is known for solving cold cases. She is an inspiration and a true hero, IMO. Her experience and knowledge is priceless. If I go missing for the record, make note to call Monica.
