I'm sure this has been asked and answered, so I apologize in advance..but who is it that gave the description of what Hailey was wearing. Would it have been SA only..or was it process of elimination..as in Billie having to decipher what was missing?

I had told Billie that we were taking supper to her the other day, but then LE took her to the courthouse until midnight. I ask her everyday about eating, and she tells me she is, but I know not enough.

I went over for a while today. Her mom is still there with her, so hopefully she is making Billie eat.

I think it would be fine to take something over. When we planned on supper, I told her to let her son choose.... he said mexican or chinese, lol, but I'm sure they would appreciate whatever.

Poor Billie...just seeing her on the news tonight was heart breaking she looks exhausted. This is more than a mother should ever have to suffer. I know when a dear friend of mine was in a somewhat similar situation all she could eat was soup, saltine crackers, and homemade breads (baked with love) by strangers. Czgtz you are a sweet, wonderful friend to Billie stay strong for her. (((((HUGS))))

This is very very true. When in very stressful situations often the only thing a person can get down is those very simple foods, much like if you have a stomach bug.

Billie actually had to buy some Ensure just to be able to get some nutrients last week. Yesterday, with her mom there, she did eat some actual food. You can see that she doesn't weigh 100lbs soaking wet to begin with....

Carnation Instant Breakfast is the only thing that kept me going during hard times. I still lost weight (I am about Billie's size. A size 0 if I don't lose weight.)

Carnation is also much cheaper than Ensure. I can get a month's supply and live on it for $30 a month or less in the big boxes of 30 packets. (At like Costco, which I doubt you have there. lol)

A search of website publicdata.com reveals no criminal histories for Billie Jean Dunn or for Shawn Adkins. Clint Dunn, however, has multiple arrests, starting in 1994 for burglary of a building, a state jail felony. Following that are subsequent arrests in 1998 for possession of marijuana, under 2 ounces, one in March 1999 for driving with a suspended license.

He was arrested again Jan. 30, 2010, by Snyder police for possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. And he was arrested at his home Dec. 29, again for possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, and a Scurry County warrant.

Just my thoughts...

I believe that we will find that SA had nothing to do with Hailey's disappearance. My theory is that she possibly made friends with someone new, maybe on the internet or a friend of a friend, and as she was walking to her dad's, that person pulled up. She got in their vehicle and drove to motel. My thought here is to pick someone up. That would explain why she was tracked from parking lot to just outside a room door and not inside room... then she goes back to vehicle and is off. I feel she was taken out of the immediate area. She is young and was trusting of the wrong person...probably a boy just a bit older. My feeling is that she is being held and is not going to be found out in the brush. I also think that LE has several lines of investigating going and the searches are what they are allowing the public to know about.

I really feel like this may be the case as well. I don't know what it is about this case, but I feel like she is still alive. Maybe it's because she seems like such a vibrant and confident young woman who would be able to fight off an attacker. IDK though, I hope I'm right. :crossfingers:

That article shocked me for a couple of reasons. Number one, why are they picking on the father at this horrible time, even if he had those run-ins with the law? Personally, I couldn't care less about that - it's just too petty to believe.

Number two, who were all those people coming out of the woodwork all of a sudden? I hope those folks have been screened by the police because they seem to have some knowledge or at least a high interest in this case.

Definately, with the running away... been there, done that. I have always thought this from the start and I keep going back and forth but, I will throw it out there. I am thinking she did go to MB's - the dogs did lead there to the door. I am thinking she did run away or was taken. Maybe, she met someone somewhere that was in town for Thanksgiving. I don't think anyone has hurt her. She is too pretty.

She is too pretty for someone to have hurt her? I would like to believe that no one would hurt her... but unfortunately some people just don't have a problem hurting a child. Or a baby. Or an adult. Regardless of how pretty they are.

Maybe I'm missing something. I certainly hope that Hailey is unhurt, but if she is it isn't going to be because she was too pretty for someone to hurt her.

Maybe they just don't have enough trained resources to search 24/7. Searchers get tired and have to take a break sometimes. The last thing they need is for somebody to pass out from exhaustion. They also have to keep some officers on their regular duties, they can't ALL stop to help with the search. But "at a later date" could mean tomorrow... not necessarily next week.

If they don't have enough trained resources, then why are they turning down more offering to come in?!!!

That is exactly my point! They need to allow Texas Equusearch to come in, then they wouldn't have to stop searching, or narrow it to such a small area. They could cover more ground much faster.

Absolutely, any type of "instant breakfast" drink will probably work.

I just never liked the "generics" and I'm pretty cheap. The chocolate carnation was the only one I could drink regularly... with my Code Red Mountain Dew of course. There is also Vanilla and Strawberry...

Well, I have to hope that at least at that point in time..there may have been a 'method to that madness'. We don't know the details surrounding that arrest..I would think very likely it may have been found in a cursory search for Hailey or seen by LE while interviewing Clint and his g'friend/wife. While it sounds heartless, we don't know how they were approaching this investigation and if LE considered him a possible suspect at first and felt that maybe the charge could help them in the investigation somehow. I mean I HOPE LE considers EVERYONE suspicious until they have something solid..I won't condemn LE for doing that until I know more ..even though I don't believe Clint had anything to do with Hailey's disappearance..and I don't believe LE thinks so either now ...
