can anyone fix the margins :(

Why does Hailey list enemies on her MS and did LE talk to them?
I think all 13-yr old girls are interested in boys, she is in 8th grade, even if their parents don't think they are. I know I was and that was way back when, and I know we all lied to our parents once we hit 7th grade...

Whenever a child is missing I always think back to the Maddie Clifton case. It was here local where I live. It was a huge news story.

Maddie was outside playing, she was 8 years old. The teen Joshua Phillips was not a suspect in fact he came out to help in the search.
In the end Joshua did turn out to be the killer of little Maddie and she was found under his waterbed, where the corners meet. She saw that there was fluid on the floor and took at look it turned out to be fluids from the decomposing body.

After that time of the case I always think in my mind the possibilty of a kid in the neighborhood and then now days a young friend off of a social network

That case tore me up, I was an emotional mess for months and still to this day when I think her tears come to my eyes.(posted link to basic case) I dont know if I needed to when refering to murdered child. So i posted link to be on safe side of TOS

...(snip)...

You can hit the alert button to notify a mod and they can fix it. I already did in this case, but for future reference... :)

ETA: Oh, I didn't fix the pic (not a mod) - just alerted the mods... :D

Oprah now has her own station called OWN. Perhaps they could start some kind of missing children show.

She is trying to stock OWN with worthwhile television.

Yes.. with her new show someone will win their own show.. I contacted that also... no response :maddening:

I dont think anyone intended to say BD wasn't worthy of the help, but Clint is simply the male version of BD, they shared custody, the both were in low financial means, everyone is just concerned about the family as a whole, I believe. And the way they have teamed together, ignoring their past relationship, to find Hailey, I think they are both very deserving of any help that may be available, to both of them. I send prayers for them all everyday.

Thank you, It was stated BIllie had co workers giving her some PTO so she'd get a paycheck, so my next concern was the other half of the family. It sounds like Hailey spent a good amt of time at her dad's as well. I don't feel this is a case of an uninvolved father who sees their child 2 weeks in the summer and that's it. If she spent half of her time at her dads which is possible as much as Billie was a single mom her dad was a single dad. Just trying to give euqal consideration. Sorry that is offensive to some.

Put the pair of us together and we shall be called the thick twins if you wish. I just don't get it either. It is all important to defining the timeline. All in the immediate circle with easy access to Hailey need to be scrutinized to either rule in or rule out.

I am thinking the same thing, but maybe there is a good explanation why she can't remember. Wish we knew what it was.
I'm old, and I can tell you everybody I saw yesterday and probably several days before that.

My margins are worse now and I even closed WS and re-opened it...

When I was still working there were some days I did not see my husband as he works graveyard and I worked days, etc...but if he went missing, I would be able to remember when I LAST saw him.

Does this seem odd to anyone? The only RSO that spoke just happen to be friends with CD and only live 2 blocks from MB. He also said he was helping in the search. Why would they be letting any of the RSO help in search? I don't know just seems odd to me.

I believe you can make a one-time payment thru PayPal with a credit/debit card vs providing a bank account which has to be verified.

~SBM~ You can use a CC/DC with your Paypal for many transactions.
Banks aren't so willing to attach paypal to these donation accounts as paypal is like going around the bank. KWIM? Also, keep in mind with paypal the person the receiving end of the funds pays a transaction fee the same as a bank charges a fee for the vendor who accepts cc payments. So like if you send $20 the one receiving would receive like $18.20 (JUST AN EXAMPLE! not sure of going rate) The person sending the $ is not charged any fee.I have used paypal for years & hundreds of transactions and LOVE IT!
In fact, I have not used mine since Christmas of 2009. I would be more than willing to allow it and do the transfers for this family in need. (many years of bookkeeping & bonding)

could be an rso in the making... one under the radar...

this is so scary.. and so reminiscient of Somer Tompson's search.

I truly think the needle in the haystack is being looked for... and to uncover it will take lots of thought and time.

MOO

again moo

I didn't think SO's should be able to search either

"There are several areas of interest that will be explored by law enforcement officers," said Senior DPS Trooper Sparky Dean in a new release. "Some of these will be searched today and others possibly at a later date."

http://bigcountryhomepage.com/fulltext/?nxd_id=329356

At a later date?! :maddening:

It isn't late enough already?!

264 hours isn't long enough for this girl to be reported missing and her mother and father to wonder where she is? If she's hurt, if she's cold, if she's being tortured, if she's dead?

264 hours already... yet some of these areas will be searched "at a later date"... I would really like to know why they can't be searched today.

If they have to wait till a "later date" to search an area because they don't have enough people, let TES do it.

If all these civilians have to search an area and risking contaminating evidence, because they don't have enough people, let TES do it.

I don't know how Billie is doing this. If I was her I would be in the police station demanding, begging, pleading, crying, screaming that they let Texas Equusearch come in and search.

It's a good thing I don't live there because I lost it when I saw that... and I'd probably be down at the police station doing that right now. Even though I don't know Hailey. This is absurd.

This is a little girl, not a lost cell phone!

You don't want till a later date, you call in all the trained resources available to you and you search everywhere NOW.

I wonder if they are saying "at a later date" because they need to get a search warrant to search some of these locations? I know that, depending on the efficiency of the local judicial systems, search warrants can take a little time to get, especially over the weekend. I certainly hope LE is working hard and fast to find little Hailey!

I'm old, and I can tell you everybody I saw yesterday and probably several days before that.

What I find odd is that many people will remember more around special holidays and/or awful situations that have occurred. How she seriously cannot remember if Hailey stopped by after spending two days there (one being Christmas) and the day of Hailey disappearing is odd. IMO
