I wonder if they are saying "at a later date" because they need to get a search warrant to search some of these locations? I know that, depending on the efficiency of the local judicial systems, search warrants can take a little time to get, especially over the weekend. I certainly hope LE is working hard and fast to find little Hailey!

It too could have been worded as "at a later date" dependent on what they find in the planned searches right now.

If there are specific places LE has in mind to search "later" why is not TES allowed to search them NOW? None of this is making sense. I do not think she is hiding in someone's closet. LE needs TES' equipment and experience. It is no shame to admit it and if TES is ready to spring into action, why not let them? They don't bother LE, they assist them.

How could there be NO evidence of foul play? Just wow.

I do agree with you. It definitely wouldn't hurt to get more professional searchers out there rather now than later. Who cares who finds what first. It matters that Hailey and or evidence of what happened to Hailey is found now. There is a family wondering each day what has occurred to their precious daughter. Set the egos aside and get them in to help!

Thank you, It was stated BIllie had co workers giving her some PTO so she'd get a paycheck, so my next concern was the other half of the family. It sounds like Hailey spent a good amt of time at her dad's as well. I don't feel this is a case of an uninvolved father who sees their child 2 weeks in the summer and that's it. If she spent half of her time at her dads which is possible as much as Billie was a single mom her dad was a single dad. Just trying to give euqal consideration. Sorry that is offensive to some.

It's not offensive to me, I think the dad needs as much consideration as the mom does. I have no doubt he is hurting as much as she is! According to NG the other night, they only separated about 3 years ago, so they raised those kids together up to that point, and he is still very much involved in their lives.

It's so refreshing to see a young couple stick together when a crisis like this hits them. I'm sending out prayers for both of them and for God to watch over Hailey and bring her home.

a few pages back it was quoted the she was there sat but it didnt say if she stayed the night sun or not it just said she was there

Yes on NG, CD said she stayed the night on Sat. and she was 'there' on Sun. ~ no mention of spending the night.

I am not comprehending thier decision either...The comment at a later date bothers me..seems to suggest they aren't in the rescue stage ..I dunno I just hope she is found SOON!

Just my thoughts...

I believe that we will find that SA had nothing to do with Hailey's disappearance. My theory is that she possibly made friends with someone new, maybe on the internet or a friend of a friend, and as she was walking to her dad's, that person pulled up. She got in their vehicle and drove to motel. My thought here is to pick someone up. That would explain why she was tracked from parking lot to just outside a room door and not inside room... then she goes back to vehicle and is off. I feel she was taken out of the immediate area. She is young and was trusting of the wrong person...probably a boy just a bit older. My feeling is that she is being held and is not going to be found out in the brush. I also think that LE has several lines of investigating going and the searches are what they are allowing the public to know about.

Hailey come home!

Oprah Winfrey has the O network she could do it if she really wanted to.

Oh, I so agree! I guess people have different priorities... *sigh*

LE also said in the linked article that they haven't yet ruled it out either. They also have not ruled out a runaway scenario. That tells me they are just coming up empty, they have no solid evidence to state foul play is involved.

I have wondered that exact scenario. I hate that her MS was public... (ETA: some predator online or some predator nearby - someone she knew, such as friend of family or friend of friends?)

However, if SA had nothing to do with it, it sure was his unlucky day/week: lose/quit job, be last one to see GF's daughter before she disappeared, have everyone thinking he did it, failed LD test, etc, etc...

It means they have not found a body, body parts, no blood, no signs that someone did harm to her. IOW, she may still be alive somewhere.

***thanks for fixing margins*** :)

I thought Hailey would not have had to even be on a road to get to her dad"s? Is that right?
While I think it is possible she went to meet a boy that night, I do not think she ever intended to be run away. If she did go to meet someone, pretending to be at MB's, she got into trouble and ran into foul play.
If she is with someone of age, it is already a felony, so that is foul play. If she is being kept against her will, that is foul play, even if boy is 14.
Does LE really think a teenage girl takes off with no clothes, no make-up, no money, no jacket or real shoes, for almost 2 weeks? And they should conclude that if she did, she must be with someone, who must be old enough to provide her with these things, which makes it FOUL PLAY.

It sure does Beyond Belief.

Could Hailey really be a runaway? :waitasec:

I think that would be the best scenario, but I don't think so... :(

Of course, I would certainly prefer that, but i think this is the work of a 'troller'.
