TX - Hanna Mack, 6, raped & murdered, Navarro Mills, 10 Sept 2007

I should have more info on Hanna's sisters on Monday. One of them is coming to stay the day today with my boss and her family.. they are getting one of the puppies for the two girls.

Yes, Hanna asked to sleep downstairs that night because she was frightened

Hi Gabby!
It was our Crime Scene techs that were on scene that morning, and I saw one of them on the TV coverage. I saw him in the office last week - he certainly couldn't say much at the time, and he's quite the professional, but you could just tell this case really bothered him.

I didn't realize you knew people and places involved - I am sorry to hear that. I greatly appreciate your updates; it's good to get some of the local info.

This may be the case that we both follow closely enough to where I might actually meet you someday! Looking forward to the criminal getting his due justice....

If I could say a hundred times that child abuse cases challenge me it wouldn't be enough. Between this case and the child Madison it is only the surface. I wish Crime LIbrary would take off the pic of Madison as it is only adding unnecessary hurt.

No child needs to be branded as the disgust and pain is with them forever.

To the perp in this case. May your everloving soul burn in hell for eternity. I have no sympathy nor compassion for your needs. I see you as the devil incarnate and whatever possessed you is not a factor. This was a child of our human race, our loving God and was not yours for the picking. I could say more but it wouldn't be appropriate.

Dirty 🤬🤬🤬. Hanging her from the rafters while he had his way with her. The horror she must have encountered.

Reminds me of another 🤬🤬🤬, Joseph Duncan. He also used hanging as a method for his rape of nine year old Dylan.

All these filthy scums of wasted human cells should be tortured and made to die slow, painful deaths.

Add Stiles to the list. Another 🤬🤬🤬 that had to hurt a defenseless child for the satisfaction of a few minutes.

I know, I thought of Dennis Rader too, with that little 11 yr old girl....

It makes me sick.

JanetElaine, that's why I love Websleuths. I'm a very opinionated person and I feel free to give my opinions here, hopefully I can give a reason I feel the way I do (like what he asked someone not to tell on the 911 call and what the children said, plus the mother worked at night if I rememer right) But I am happy to admit I am wrong if I need to. I feel so welcomed here because of all of you and the differing views. Thank goodness I am wrong many times. So rub it in all you want to especiall in good spirits like you have. :blowkiss:

Yeah that's what I like about the people here too, nobody ever really has a problem to admit when they were wrong. :)

Glad everyone took my post the way it was intended to, as a little ribbing.

Sick and crazy though that an 18 year old neighbor kid ends up being the killer...

These scumbags make me cry for our children. Who can they turn to for protection when their parents INVITE trash into their homes? I'm not talking about Dylan's family, but both Stiles and Arender were associates of these children's parents. I am just sick. Don't these moms have any kind of instinct about keeping their babies safe?

There is no way to tell what goes on in peoples minds....its not like we can just look at a person and say "oh he a perv"....look how many priests, teachers, senators, fathers, brothers, uncles...etc have been arrested for molestation!
There is no instinct to have because abusers come from all kinds of people!

I admit I was totally wrong about this one!! Altho...I think Anders was up to his own no good ways and I would be interested to know what connection he had with this 18yo kid, if any.

(Heck...LE was wrong in the beginning on this case, too....weren't they?)

Are we in stand-by mode today? Anything going to happen with either of these creeps?

Thanks for all the local input. It really helps when you understand more than what's written in the paper.

I will try to keep abreast of the situation today, but it is close out at work and I have to be out tomorrow with my father in law having heart surgery. If others can keep an eye out on the local newspaper site (www.corsicanadailysun.com) that would be a huge help.

I wish your father well during his surgery. You will be surprised (unless you've been through this before) at how much better he will be in a few weeks. The first week might be a little rough though.

Take care.

Gabby, hope your father-in-law is ok. Has anyone heard anything on this case.

There is not a lot that can be done for the Father in Law. That is the sad part about yesterday, being told that he is too weak to have the bypass surgery ....won't survive it.

Nothing new here except that CPS has taken custody of the other two girls in the home and they are living with an aunt.

That is so sad, Gabby. Blessings to you and your family.

Bumping in memory of Hanna Mack...

Has anyone heard anything else?

May this Angel rest in peace.

Sherri79, it is all so complicated! I have a 7 year old daughter, and 18 year old daughter, and have been married for almost 28 years.....to the same man. Go figure - I have the patience of Job. Anyway, my 7 year old has a "best friend" who is 8 years old. The best friend's Mother also has a child under 1 year old by a totally different father, who is no longer in the picuture. We have only known this "best friend" for six months. The mother is a very young, sweet young girl. During the six months that I have known her, however, my daughter has met the biological father, and at least two boyfriends. I am very uncomfortable with my daughter going for a sleep-over at her friend's house. In fact, I am uncomfortable with her going over there. The other little girl has spent numerous entire weekends at my house, but it gets awkward because they want to spend time at the other girl's house. With the instability, and so many men in the picture that I have not had time to fingerprint and do background checks on, there is no way in heck that my daughter is going to spend the night. No way.

Funny statement but I totally know where you're coming from. My daughter has a friend whose situation is a lot like your daugher's friend. At one point the mom had a live in boyfriend (who also brought his teenage son) who wasn't from this area which means I didn't know diddly about them. I made DD cool her heels on trips over there until the boyfriend and his son left.

Lucky for us we live in a small town -- just today at the local beauty shop the owner was teasing my daughter and saying she had seen her at the friends house and had been watching them. I told the shop owner to feel free to call me anytime it looks like my daughter and her friend are doing something they shouldn't and she laughed and said "I'm not gonna call you, I'm gonna go out there and straighten them out myself first"---got to love a small town!!
