TX - Harless family, parents & 4 children found dead in vehicle, San Antonio, June 2020

The changes in every day life patterns has stressed us all in many ways. Breaks my heart these kids and babies lives taken from them.
It's a shame one of the parents wasn't able to reach out for help. Maybe it was a mental breakdown that happened quickly and there wasn't a chance to get help. MOO just so sad...

According to this article Mom played a part in the murder of the 4 children. If this is true, it’s terrible that they didn’t seek help for the stress in their lives. Surely the army would have counseling services available for military families.

ETA that maybe they had sought out counseling. I don’t know that they did not.

That’s very interesting that it has been determined that both mom and dad had a hand in this tragedy. I wonder how they came to that conclusion. Maybe there were no indications that mom had put up a fight? I don’t think that would be definitive though. I would guess the military authorities investigated the family’s life and interactions in the months prior, so they would have some idea of the dynamic in the household leading up to that terrible day. I wonder how isolated they were?

Terribly said whatever the dynamic. Poor kids.

It's hard to imagine the dynamic and circumstances that brought this family to it's end.. despair isolation ? Undiagnosed mental health issues ?
Truly tragic MOO
