SO GLAD TO SEE TES. Of course they are going to rock this. Waiting anxiously to see where they search if and when they come in.

Which reminds me, I meant to look at the map and terrain. Thanks locals for your notes.

I'm more interested in what happened between 2 and 6. I find it highly suspect he got home, noticed a wide-open door and missing wife/baby and just went on with letting his older child be in childcare or whatever was the case after school.....the point of having to be called to retrieve him (if that's the case). I mean, maybe it was convenient for him that there was childcare in place, but.....something is very odd about that if that series of events is true. You can never know with MSM these days.

I agree that is very weird. School is 3 miles away - she's not going to walk that with a 2 week old baby. So obviously, the kid was stranded. Presumably, since mom wasn't working, she was picking him up at 2:30-3. But even if they decided to keep the older child in afterschool care, surely the fact that the place had to call to say he hadn't been picked up is suspicious.

I wanna know everything from the time he got up until he got the phone call from the school. Every single detail of his day :)
Exactly. Every second of his day.

Unless you thought it would look more suspicious to actually go pick him up when mom usually did. "How would you know that mom wasn't going to be able to pick him up?"..... Maybe he thought this was less suspicious looking?

I can't abide the self-serving plea spoken to the media: "Come back!" He's already made it clear that he thinks foul play is at work in her disappearance.

I haven't come to an opinion on him yet, but if your wife & brand new baby disappear without anything in their possession. Is suspecting foul play unreasonable?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but did she have the baby with her when she dropped off the child..need to go back.

Oh no...I live in South Austin...maybe 10 mins from here. Haven’t had time to read through yet, just saw the title and went ‘not again’ :(
I also live really close. Depending on coming or going 11 minutes or 15 minutes away. About 4 or 5 miles away if direct straight line. LOTS of woods in between. My building at this complex had a break in a few months ago. The family thankfully was not home. They took all the valuables and no one at all in our building heard a thing, even though they broke the sliding patio door to get in! This was at night when I am awake (husband works nights). The police said it was transients living in the woods.

Too much not adding up with the fiance. His narrative makes zero sense. A woman having given birth 2 weeks ago and you come home & both she & the baby are gone & you do nothing until after the school calls to tell your son hasn't been picked up?

Stinky stinky stinky.

That was my understanding - that the baby was with her when she dropped off the child, since police believe they returned to the house after this. MOO

I think in these cases it’s pretty much standard that everyone knows the SO is of course going to be a POI initially, and questioned heavily as SP, whether or not he seems hinky or not. Which is, like Mark Klaas said one time, how he himself had NO problem taking a polygraph and being cooperative and giving LE all the information they needed so they could hurry up and rule him out and pursue other leads.

Can’t wait to see the LE on this one and hear what they have to say. It’s interesting how in each of these investigations, LE has their own personalities and approaches, based on the dynamics of the case, etc.

Will we get a Fitzgerald? A Carter/Riley /Leazenby?

(I think I spend too much time here)

Im so worried for Heidi and Margot. So many red flags in the interview with the husband/boyfriend/ex.

Afraid it will be a bad ending but still, i hope you two are save.

I'm assuming the son HB took to school around 7:50 AM was their son together and since it appears son was old enough to be in school full day I think it would be unlikely SC would not be divorced yet.

(If younger, would son go to daycare if mom on maternity leave and/or home?)

MOO
YES, for me. I kept my son in his preschool when his baby sister was born and I was home with her all day. The older kids don't always want to sit home and watch endless diaper changes and feedings and naps all day, and to be kept quiet and all that, IMO.

Perhaps we haven't heard more from the SO since is he being thoroughly interrogated by LE?

Plus, I figure that, if he is the guilty party, that also gives him more time to make sure everything is in place.

I'm not saying that it doesn't happen; however, I would think that it is rare for a mother and child just to disappear from home leaving everything behind without a trace. It doesn't make sense.

If the boyfriend didn't do this, every minute should be able to be accounted for. He of course could have accomplished this after he left work. He still had four hours. We are not privy to whether they were separated or still together. Police will know, though, especially, since her mother drove from Louisiana to Texas to meet with them and to help with the search.

I read that the mother said that her daughter was very careful and very tuned into her surroundings. I bet that her mother knows everything about what is going on and is helping police with all sorts of details.
