Because when you have a new baby, the world revolves around that little darling. Making sure they’re okay. Keeping them alive. I mean the mind is just hyper alert and centered on protection and sheltering. IMO. So for me, I can’t imagine coming home to find my wife and newborn not there and not immediately texting, “Where you at? How’s my baby?”
My husband would have called me for sure. He'd want to say he was home and see how baby was. He wouldn't have been worried UNLESS he saw the front door wide open.
Was the door wide open? Or is that old news that was incorrect?
