I was wrong about the ex this time. I thought it seemed hunky to call a welfare check instead of an ambulance, but maybe it was very apparent that Holly had been dead for a while. Her ex- husband who dropped of the kids was not responsible for her death, the ex- boyfriend was.

I've only found the one but he is certainly 'off'. I'm scratching my head over one particular photo he has posted where he captions a name familiar with this case, but not familiar with this case at the same time. If that makes any sense.

MOG!! Those were the suspect's two young children that he dropped off to find their mother shot dead inside the garage? Did I get that right?

The ex, called " father of her children" and his siblings are mentioned in the obituary. As soon as I saw that, I was quite sure he was not the suspect.

In every news station article it says he’s being held on “no bond “ for murder . But that’s not what it says it says he has no bond for murder as in $0. No probable cause . I’ve had a no probable cause arrest before and as soon as the pc court judge said those words at the same jail he’s at I was lead to booking and released from the front door . I didn’t know at the time the charges were still pending and documentation could be changed to fit what they wanted till 5 years later at a driver’s license renewal. But I’m pretty sure I heard threw some people that the robbery was dropped by the person that filled it . And the states holding him on it to investigate the murder. But to me it looks like if the robbery drops so does the parole revocation blue warrent and he’s free to go . Just was curious if I was wrong about that

She was identified as 41-year-old Holly Vines. Her father told KPRC 2 she was a loving person and well known in the community.

Without a link to the TX arrest record site used to pull the arrest records, I can't tell the status date of the image posted, or if OP's questions were answered.

Nonetheless, thanks for the image uploaded with details about Cavanaugh's arrest.

Using Vinelink to search Cavanagh's current status on 5/1/22, it appears to me that the robbery and blue warrant arrests on 3/16/22 are still showing "open status," and the murder offense record dated 4/5/22 is also open.

At this time, a court date for 5/23/22 is also being reported.

As to the robbery offense going away because the person alleging or filing the action is dismissing their complaint, these are criminal charges where it's the State that decides if/when charges are dropped or if the case moves forward. Maybe there will be a motion to dismiss the robbery charges introduced in court on May 23?

One last note -- I've not worked in TX for years but the last time I was a resident, I recall you could be held on a blue warrant for up to 210 days, and there was no bond for a blue warrant. There was generally sufficient time for the grand jury to indict while being held in custody on a blue warrant.

IMO, I don't think JC is leaving Montgomery County Jail anytime soon.
